MM Reviews: You Can Call Me Queen Bee

Author: brienne.angel
Type: Fan Fiction
Genre: Romance | Fantasy | War
Rating: PG-13

Normally a story starts with the beginning, progresses into the middle and is completed with the ending, typically tying everything together if the author is being generous. However, some stories can choose to break that norm routine and shake things up a bit, something that You Can Call Me Queen Bee does excellently.

Beginning with the end, the story tells the tale backwards of one girl's desire to be queen in the land of Westeros. With the first chapter being the concluding scene of the story, readers are encouraged to start from chapter ten, which is the last chapter, and read backwards to chapter one in order to understand the story properly. Each chapter is short and to the point, with the total word count being just over two thousand words across ten chapters. The skill of being able to write so little and still produce a fantastic story is one that brienne.angel definitely has mastered.

If you're a fan of Robb Stark of Winterfell, then this story is for you. brienne.angel has the ability to make the reader feel as if they were in the Game of Thrones world, from how the protagonist meets the lovely Robb, right the way through to the satisfying ending. And for those of you who watch the show, the ending might just be one that suits your liking. You Can Call Me Queen Bee is one story that can be read, even if you're not a fan of the books or show.

Special thanks to safe bet. and house of cards. for editing!
