This gorgeous story so far is based on that lyric alone, from the song "Undo" by The 1975, as a contest entry. Description is the vital element in this piece, as pervntique. so delicately, in a way, approaches it. Every line helps to create a new image, helps to build the picture in your head so that every sense and detail is heightened and you feel as if you are in the scene taking place. Scenery in this short story is absolutely incredible.

But You're Not Mine is told from the point of view of Everett, a boy who just wants as much of his friend Noel as he can have. But there's just one fact that stops him every time - she's not his. And she simply does not want to be. She has someone else, and as it is repeated over and over again in the story, they are just friends.

While the flow and descriptions may be beautiful, the content is not. The content is raw and dark, with unrequited love to the maximum as well as horrid thoughts and drug use. There's nothing pretty about it - but then again, there isn't in real life either, is there?
