MM Reviews: Study of Life and Love
For many, university is a big part of life as they're allowed to grow and mature all the while studying to better themselves. Despite being there to study, most students engage in parties, love, and friendships, making the three or four years spent there worthwhile. The experience is different for everyone and each institution provides a different experience for its students.
Study of Life and Love focuses on five girls at the beginning of the new school year. Watch as they settle into the year, filled with classes and friends, and maybe even a hint of love might end up on the books if they're not careful. However, not everything is as simple as it sounds and drama is sure to be on the cards as they progress further into the year.
ImpulsiveFreedom takes the reader on a journey throughout these five lives and interweaves them naturally, with each new chapter focusing on a different girl but still retaining an impeccable flow. There's humour running beneath everything that happens, which is able to shine some light upon any drama that may surface. Despite standing at fourteen chapters, this is a story that requires time sat down as the chapters are long, with a nice balance between description and dialogue, and entirely productive towards the plot.
Although a fanfiction, this is one story that knowing the fandom is completely irrelevant. Enjoying the writing, the characters and the lengthy chapters is what makes Study of Life and Love stand out from many other stories that focus on students and their lives.
