MM Reviews: Silver Spirits
Immortality is often linked with creatures of the night or those cursed with the infliction, and those that possess it are generally those who never wanted it, which often leads to resentment and hostility among them. Some, however, seek out a way to become immortal. No one knows if it is the allure of never dying, or a wish to have a grasp on the world eternally.
Captain Scarlett Rose is seeking a way to become immortal. Captain of the Silver Spirit, she is a woman not to be trifled with and determined to achieve what she has put her mind to. That is precisely what crosses her path with one Benjamin Griffith. He has what she wants and that's where the problems begin.
Currently sitting at nine chapters, Silver Spirits is a co-write that enthralls right from the start. With a female lead that has enough confidence to single-handedly steal the story, adventure out on the sea and just the right amount of thrills, there is nothing that this story lacks.
Whether pirates are what intrigues you, or you're intrigued by Captain Scarlett Rose, this is a piece that cannot be passed up. Both authors have their own distinct writing style but are still able to allow the transition between the chapters to flow nicely. Silver Spirits is a story that's just beginning and can only blossom into something even more spectacular.
