Eat Me

Title: Eat Me

Eat Me is an absolutely captivating Pitch Black fanfiction, but don't worry, you don't have to be familiar with the Chronicles of Roddick films in order to appreciate this action-packed thrill ride. doofiqua does a wonderful job of expanding upon the universe and making it accessible to the reader through the eyes of her fierce heroine, Fiona.

There are so many aspects of this story that resonated with me that's it's difficult to pick out just a few. To start off, Eat Me has a little bit of everything: complicated and devastatingly beautiful characters, a rich use of setting, quick-witted dialogue, and a high-stakes plot line. There's the full-frontal need to survive in a desolate science fiction landscape, but it's intertwined with the intriguing dynamic between the two main characters, Riddick and Fiona. With all that being said, the main thing that stood out to me was doofiqua's hypnotic method of storytelling. She does a brilliant job of slowly revealing the many layers and facets of each character and their relationships with one another that leaves the reader on the edge of their seats, eager to venture further into the next chapter.

Eat Me is completed with nine chapters, and doofiqua is currently working on a sequel titled Feed Me.
