Love sucks. Those are the words you are given when you start reading this story. Within the first few paragraphs you are given some of the back-story that makes those words ring loud and clear for Natalie, a girl that enjoys blueberries and Tumblr. She’s a typical teen with a family life that is less than perfect. In fact, that may just be a factor in her opinion of love.

Going forward you see how she interacts with her mother, and it’s no surprise that they have their own dance when dealing with each other. Instead of sitting and arguing with her, Natalie takes off and finds herself at an old laundromat.

Inside she finds more than the obvious washing machines and dryers, but memories of spending time here with the driving force behind her belief that love sucks.

Continuing the story you will find that Natalie is a strong character with a feisty fun side and a normal, if not more mature, outlook on life. Not only do the descriptions do this story justice, but swell has managed to flesh out all her characters in a way that anybody who reads her story can relate to. With a well-rounded twenty chapters this story holds a lot of promise to anyone that wants to read it.
