MM Reviews: Dream Play

Title: Dream Play
Author: silk tea.
Type: Fan Fiction
Genre: Romance | Drama
Rating: PG-13

Harry's taking a break from his everyday life. He's isolated himself in a beach house that is familiar to him in order to take a break. For three months he intends to stick it out in the beach house, away from his friends and family, all alone. Well, at least he was all alone until a strange girl watches him on the beach and introduces herself as Nina - the girl who is going to play a big part in his life for the next few months.

Nina is a girl who infiltrates Harry's life and becomes his companion throughout the summer, providing him with treats and daily activities so that he can appreciate the summer and not waste away in his house. But this is so much more than a cute summer romance.

Dream Play is a beautifully written short story that takes the reader with Harry and Nina as their bond over the sea and food grows with a twist, a bond that looks to be one that would last forever. silk tea. has given readers a story that will make them smile but also tear up with emotion as the story nears to the end, and some might even smile through their tears. This is a piece that can be read in one short sitting, and really, it's deserving of that time.

Forget about it being a fanfiction and just give the story a go - for its characters, its plot and most of all, its emotion. After all, aren't they the most important aspects of a story?

Special thanks to losing control and Audrey T for editing.
