Romance is one the top most loved genres among readers. Everyone loves reading stories about characters that are in relationships without any conflict or strife, just some good, light-hearted happiness between two people. Nate & Jules fits that description perfectly. The characters, Nate and Jules, are self-proclaimed hipsters. Nate, with his khaki-canvas bag carrying, baking loving and infectious smile, and Jules, with his Starbucks working, compliment word vomiting and ‘psychic abilities’, they make the perfect couple. Each chapter starts out with a message from Jules to Nate and then goes on to describe their everyday interactions, which perfectly sums up relationships in this generation.

With only two chapters so far, Nate & Jules is a fairly short read, but don’t let that deter you from getting into this story. inej ghafa’s perfectly crafted descriptions draw readers in and her lovable and relatable characters will leave you wanting much more. This story also features great representation for LGBT+ characters, as the two main characters are gay, which is something that many readers have been looking for much more often recently.

If you’re looking for a cute, light-hearted story to get into, Nate & Jules is definitely one that will not disappoint.
