Featured Poem: Suppression

Oftentimes, mankind’s worst enemy is itself. As people, we are often the caretakers of our own emotions and moods and for some, this control means a constant stream of allowing pain to dominate their every move. We surround ourselves with people who may not be beneficial to our own well-being. Suppression is a poem that deals with that theme in a way that is wonderfully written and interesting to read. I caught up with the author, s.stasia, to learn a little more about this poem!

To suppress your feelings means to keep them in the back of your mind and block them out. That's what I did.
