Up and Coming: She Wolf

Sci-fi is a genre that, as of late, has had a massive resurgence here on Mibba. With an almost infinite number of possibilities for plots and stories contained within such a small genre, it can be almost impossible to keep up with the stories that are submitted on a daily basis! Combining sci-fi with Mibba’s arguably most popular genre, romance, allows for even more possibility and that is exactly what She Wolf does. Calmingmelody has only been writing this story for a short while, but it is already well-established and exciting! I caught up with her to find out a little more about the process behind this story!

Tell us a little bit about She Wolf.

She Wolf is about an alien scout who is sent to Earth, but she gets a lot more than she bargained for when she falls in love with a human. It will eventually explore the obstacles they face and how they overcome them together.

What was the inspiration behind She Wolf?

She Wolf was written for a contest that required me to mix sci-fi and romance, the inspiration actually came from the banner that I found for it and I just went from there.

How long have you been writing She Wolf?

I posted the first chapter last month, but I've only just returned to Mibba. I'm hoping to really get the story started within the next week.

Do you have any other stories that you think people might enjoy?

I have my story My Heart Is His, which is a huge love declaration story.

What is your favourite thing about Mibba?

I like the fact that you can create layouts to go along with the stories you write. It's great to be able to share your stories, but to be able to create a layout that kinda shows what you're writing is great.

Do you have any favourite stories on Mibba?

Sadly I haven't had much time to read on here, but it is definitely something that I'm going to do in the future.

What would you like to say to anybody who reads your stories?

I guess, first of all, I would like to thank anyone that reads my stories. It means a lot. Secondly, just keep in mind that I've put time into writing and I may not be the world’s best writer, but I sure do try. I believe in writing from the heart and sometimes that means that people may not like it, but If I'm not staying true to who I am, then I might as well give up.

And finally, if you were forced to listen to only one song on repeat for the rest of your life, what song would you choose and why?

I would choose "Echo" by Jason Walker. It really speaks to me and, in some ways, I can relate to it.

Special thanks to losing control. and Audrey T for editing!
