There's an appeal when it comes to writing about forbidden topics - especially forbidden relationships. One of the most popular relationship types to write about is the classic student/teacher one. Not only is it forbidden, it's taboo, and that's what makes it popular to write about. Not Another Timeless Classic is an ongoing story that tackles a student/teacher relationship, so here's the author, Untold Story;, to tell us a bit more about it!

Give us a brief summary of Not Another Timeless Classic.

Essentially, it's a story of a girl learning about herself and how to love again, but in a way that she's not familiar with. The story centers around Charlie, a freshman in college, and her unorthodox love interest. She's thrown into a lifestyle that, before now, was intriguing but not necessarily enticing. She's struggling to maintain balance in her life between the new-found relationship, exploring a side to herself that she's never known and keeping her sanity in the midst of it all.

What's the most challenging part about writing this story?

Exploring the different spectrums of a teacher/student relationship without being too cliché.

Do you have a favourite character?

I think my favorite character in this story to write is Sarah. She's almost completely Charlie's opposite in every aspect and that's always a fun dynamic to have between best friends.

What made you start writing Not Another Timeless Classic?

I've written my fair share of fanfiction and tried my hand at different types of forbidden relationships, but I wanted to write something that stood out from anything else I'd done in the past.

Is there a meaning behind the title?

Jared, Charlie's love interest, possesses a love for classic literature and sometimes thinks of their relationship as a cliché and I wanted to show that with through the title.

Do you ever experience writer's block while writing this story? If so, how did you overcome it?

I tend to free write or imagine the character's in different settings or situations to overcome writer's block.
