    Thank you for posting, this was really useful. I just realized that I've been placing my commas and periods on the wrong side of the quotation mark. -.- I have a tendency to mix up Swedish grammar rules with English ones.

    I feel that this was really needed here on Mibba. I noticed that writers often have trouble distinguishing when to use commas and periods in dialogue. I liked that you gave examples of when to use them.
