Featured Contests

Let's have a look at this week's contests!

There's Perfection in Imperfection

In an ideal world, relationships would run smoothly without ever having any bumps in the road. There would be no problems, no massive fights and definitely no cheating. But we live in the real world and relationship problems, massive fights started over the tiniest thing and cheating definitely occur, so why not write about the realistic things? That's where addictedsevenfold.'s contest comes in!

There's Perfection in Imperfection is her contest dedicated to users writing about realistic relationships, stemming from a prompt from one of two lists or the wildcard option, where users can write about whatever they wish so long as it's realistic. Although many people prefer to write romantic, if slightly unrealistic, relationships there's nothing wrong with a realistic relationship that still has that romance element embedded within.

You Will Be Missed

When celebrities pass away fans tend to want to pay tribute to them in whichever way possible. Then the years pass and no matter who else they become a fan of, people normally still remember those they admired who are dead. So NothingGoldCanStay's contest, that allows users to pay tribute to a celebrity that is no longer around, is one that many might find themselves drawn to.

It doesn't matter whether the celebrity passed away one year ago or twenty, users can write about anyone who left before their time. It's also fine to write an entry where the celebrity is alive just as it's also okay to write a tribute to them. You Will Be Missed is a contest that could also help a fan express their feelings about the celebrity's death because there's nothing better than letting it all out in words.
