Writing With Matthew Healy

Matthew Healy is a wonderful writer who has many different stories, ranging from fan fictions to original romances. Each of her stories offers up a unique part of Lynae's skills and talent as a writer. Gray and Dirty Water are just two examples of her amazing works, and Lynae has her own take on what each of these stories mean to her.

"I began writing Gray about a year ago and though it doesn't disrupt the flow with the more current updates, it still shows. The beginning of the story has a more descriptive prose in relation to the latter chapters, yet there's still a smooth transition (story build-up to action). Gray's character is honestly almost everything I hope not to be during my teenage years. She's lost, her feelings torn between two guys who aren't as good for her as she thinks. She doesn't know where she's going in life or who she is as a person. And as a human existing in the physical universe, I hope to find myself before I end up stuck like her.

"For me, Dirty Water is quite exhilarating. Although it has already proved to be a difficult piece for me to write (lots and lots of research is to blame), I can already tell that it's going to be very exciting to write. I can't give much away for Dirty Water, because it's still in its early stages of development and I don't want to spoil it for my current (and future) readers. But I can say that Finn is a good person. That's one thing I want people to remember while reading this. Finn means well." - Lynae

Lynae has been on Mibba for quite some time now and has certainly come into her own on the site. She has a very strong presence, a vibrant personality and a lot of talent. Whether you're looking for someone to talk to or a great writer to follow, Lynae could certainly be it.

"I've been a part of Mibba for a year and then some (and I know that because Gray is the first piece of writing that I published on Mibba). Being an asset of this community has rewarded me with several opportunities and advantages. Through this website, I've been exposed to such great people who've helped me grow as a writer and vice versa. I've been exposed to a broader field of text and ideas that you can't access easily in the real world. And I just want to give Mibba and all of its members a great big hug for providing me with solace and support when I couldn't find it anywhere else." - Lynae
