Featured Contests

Let's have a look at this week's contests!

All Monsters are Human

Monsters have always been popular in media and fiction, with shows such as Buffy and Supernatural being well-loved shows centred around different types of monsters. There's something alluring about having monsters featured in stories, which could be because authors are fascinated about creatures that have come from folklore or even about the complexity of having monsters exist within a seemingly human person. Either way, there's no doubt that Mibba loves stories surround monsters. That's just as well, seeing as little sparrow. has started up a contest that is all about monsters!

Her All Monsters are Human contest requires users to state their desire to join and then have them receive their chosen monster by message. From there it's down to the users themselves to decide how they want to style their entry - is the monster cruel and bloodthirsty? Or will a spin be put on them, taking them even further away from how they are commonly perceived. With how users are sure to take their prompts in different ways, there's no doubt that each entry will be vastly different from the other.

So if that is something you wish to try, come and join this contest!

Snow White in Space

Science fiction is a genre that is getting more love in the media as the years pass on by. While similar to fantasy but not quite the same, it's often neglected on Mibba. However, captain solo. is one user who loves the genre and has decided that a contest incorporating it is needed. Just one catch, though: fairytales are also included!

Snow White in Space is a contest that's intriguing just by the title. It requires users to examine the list of classic fairytales the host has provided and pick one to mix in with science fiction, putting a unique spin on the much-loved tales. There's well-known tales such as Beauty and the Beast and Cinderella included, as well as the lesser known - but still loved dearly - tales like Thumbelina and Swan Lake. There's sure to be one that hooks onto participants, even the ones who have never branched into science fiction before. Who knows, maybe this contest could expose you to your newest favourite genre. It's completely possible!
