About

Hey my name's Kim...I'm 16 years old and music has pretty much been a part of my life since I was a baby. I love going to shows just to feel part of something amazing in a time of need. I've been through some tough times and can relate to a lot of things you may be going through...so if you ever need anyone to talk to I'm here for anyone...just send me a message or something. After I attend college I inspire to become a Music Journalist. So yeah I'm pretty nice so don't be shy and drop me a comment =D

Right now I have no idea what my hobbies consist of...I've done everything from being a complete tomboy athlete to being a complete waster. Right now all that's truly important to me is trying to manage a decent GPA while also trying to keep friends close. I also have become more and more fond of kids as I started to work with as a camp counselor so I definitely can;t wait to become a mother. I'm a pretty diverse person in general so if you wanna know more, comment me...you never know, we might have something in common...

Currently my favorite band hands down is, Mindless Self Indulgence. Their style is so unique and diverse that it can satisfy any of my musical cravings. Some of their songs may offend people but it's only because they do not have a true sense of humor...you need to truly GET MSI to fully appreciate their style and lyrics. They empower women and show girls that they too can play music because 1/2 of their band is made up of women. Their amazing stage antics top keep their fans coming back for more...and I definitely can't wait to go to another one of their shows

Green Day is a band that I will love no matter what. Every aspect of their music seems to be perfect to me whether the song be a soulful ballad or a crunchy pop punk song. They were my first taste of rock music and my first rock concert experience as well. Their message can appeal to anyone that feels like they don't belong or feels the need to rebel against authority. In my heart, Green Day will never die...

MCR is such an amazing band and a group of wonderful guys. Ever since I ran into Frankie in the mall and saw Mikey in a Swatch store I've truly become addicted. It's nice to know that a group of normal guys from my home state have blown up to such big proportions but still remained humble enough to go to such a public mall. The subject matter that Gerard writes about is often very near and dear to my heart and the emotion he holds in his voice really chokes me up sometimes. I have never been so proud to be a New Jersey-an

I'm a pretty new fan of MxPx. Ever since I saw them play at Bamboozle '08 I've been hooked. Their pit made me feel like I was part of something important and for 30 minutes I felt like I belonged somewhere. It's the only time I've felt completely comfortable and safe in a mosh pit. They also took my circle pit virginity...MxPx is now a complete addiction of mine...

STAY FOR TOMORROW

This is a local band from my town of Cedar Grove. I've grown up with all of these guys and it's amazing to see how far they've come from playing the school talent show to recording an EP and landing shows at big venues in Jersey. If you like bands such as Green Day, Blink-182, and Alkaline Trio...you should definitely check these guys out!

The Bamboozle Festival is a festival in NJ that has been going on since the early millenium with bands such as MCR, Taking Back Sunday, and Panic At The Disco serving as major headliners. I personally have been going since 2006...and it's hard to imagine a year without it. The Bamboozle has opened my eyes to such bands as MxPx and Aiden...if you're ever around the NJ area in early May you should definitely check this spectacle out!
