D.C. May Have To Choose: Gay Rights or Helping Homeless?
The Catholic Archdiocese of Washington has given Washington D.C. an ultimatum: You pass gay rights legislation, they cut off an arm - the charitable arm of the church, that is. Social programs to help the needy may come to an end.

Solipsism
Solipsism is a philosophical concept which became the topic of an English essay during my senior year of high school. I now present you with that essay, sans the parenthetical references. Long story short, Solipsism basically suggests that since the world as perceived by the senses can't be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt to exist, perhaps the self is the only thing that exists and the objects and concepts around you may be figments of the imagination.
