My name is Heather, in case you didn't know ;D
I adore literature. I'm constantly on the look-out for good stories that will suck me in and make me feel what's happening within the story is real, even if only for a few moments. Stories that can make me shiver in fear when the character shivers, feel the knot in the character's stomach, feel the panic, love, or whatever emotion they happen to be experiencing. I also love grammar and spelling, as absurd as it sounds. I correct my friends and family constantly and they're always seething at me for it. Someday I'd love to put my passions to work as a book editor. I feel like it's the perfect career path for me.
I'm currently a senior in high school, with a month and a half left until graduation. I never thought I'd be the type to get senoritis; I mean, after fourteen years of schooling how bad could the last stretch be? Let me tell you: it's torture. Pure and utter torture. I am taken; I've been with my boyfriend for the past three and a half years and I don't plan on that changing anytime soon (or anytime at all for that matter). His name is Andrew Straus and I could't ask for a sweeter, funnier, more handsome boy. If I had three wishes and I wished for the perfect boy, I'd just get him right back. My bond with my cousins can't compare with most out there; they're a huge part of my life and I'd take a bullet to protect any one of them. I have a pet turtle. His name is Squirt, after the baby turtle in Finding Nemo, but now he looks more like Crush. He's huuuge. I'm a bit neurotic when it comes to organization. I even color-code my cups. Office supplies are my addiction; I'll buy out Staples if I ever become rich. Fingers crossed! I don't like Italian food, but I love Hawaiin and Chinese. My mom says I should have been born asian. I'm absolutely obsessed with Harry Potter like you wouldn't believe. My friends all get annoyed when I start to talk about it (which is often).
