Ugh, this is my second ban. It takes too long to wear off. Besides, soon I'll be too busy to even entertain mibba anymore. Hell, I'm too busy to even be on here right now.
Oh yeah and not every forum is for debating anyway. I've seen plenty of forums that say "not a debate forum" like I say to a lot of people, nobody likes to be told they're wrong. I mean, I don't, my mind is set on what I believe and outside information isn't going to help change that.
Yeah, I actually saw Thrice for the third time last night. I'm just gonna list every band I've seen, even if they were on the same tour.
I've also seen Jukebox the Ghost, Skybox, Tally Hall, mewithoutYou (twice), Kevin Devine (four times), Nightmare of You (twice), Plushgun (twice), Aushua (twice), Brian Bonz (three times), Paper Route, Rubik, The Dig, The Bad Veins, Manchester Orchestra (twice), O'Brother, The Features, Matt Pryor.
I think there's more, but I can't remember right now. What about you?
Most of the bands associated with Brand New (Kevin Devine, Brian Bonz, Man Orch, Thrice, mewithoutYou, etc.) but also The Movielife, This is Hell, Crime in Stereo, Nightmare of You, Jawbreaker, Jets to Brazil, Wilco, Aushua (except they're now called Pacific Hurt), Plushgun, Ace Enders, person L, Aloha, Four Year Strong, Polar Bear Club, Bayside, I Am the Avalanche.
There's a bunch more, but that's all I can think of off the top of my head, and yes, I listen to these and more on a regular basis, haha. You?
Yeah, they have some pretty unique fans. I'm surprised at some people that turn up to the shows, haha.
Nah, TDAG and Daisy are definately more harder than the others, so I wouldn't classify it as poetic rock, really. I don't know what I would classify any of their albums except the first one, which is basically pop punk, but obv. not the shitty kind :p
Yeah, it was one of the acoustic tours with Kevin.
God, me too. Most of the shows I've been to, the audience is really great, so I guess it's just the douchebag frat guys who like Brand New that ruin it for everyone else. And all the idiot drunk girls.
Other than that it's fun though.
Well, Jesse solo was great, he seemed a lot more relaxed. The first two full band shows were great, although Thrice was better than them at the second show. The third full band show sucked, but not because of the bands- the sound system was horrible and the audience was so disrespectful..
But yeah, def. go see them if you have the chance! Even if they act the way they do when I see them (stand around, don't really get into the music (except for my man Derrick. I have so much love for that guy, it's unreal. He's just so adorable and flails and it's great)) it's still a great show.
and if it's not then well hey fellow coldplayer c:
