Re school labels etc, even in groups and labels there are differences, so you could add that - eg, not all the preps suddenly like her, there's one group of friends that still ignore her, for example.
To be honest, "Vampire" is now practically cliche, but I guess I'll wait a bit to see if it actually is really cliche, or whether it's just my jadedness coming through.

Everyone makes mistakes, it's part of learning. And there are probably some people who will look over your work before you publish it to check for such mistakes.
Re plot - the entire vampire thing *is* quite over-done, and Twilight does have two mythical races, at least - vampires and lycanthropes (werewolves).
The actual cliche thing may not be as bad as I said, but personally, I'm a little fed up of a particularly special person who happens to find out about something which ther're never supposed to know about etc.
Your main protagonist was fairly believable, real, and so on, but your portrayal of the stereotypical groups in a school is a bit shallow and flat.
