Don't be. You were honestly trying to help and I respect that completely. I just have this nervous tick that if someone doesn't get what I am going I should try to explain it :/ We just have different styles of writing and it's totally cool :)

Technically, yes. You are correct. If I was writing some kind of essay or professional paper, then I am definitely using periods wrong. However, with creative writing, it is okay to fragment sentences within reason. You don't have to follow all the rules of proper grammar. Like, you really aren't supposed to start a sentence with "and" or "because" and run-ons are a big grammar no-no. But many writers implement these techniques in order to create a certain rhythm. And honestly, that's what I was trying to go for. This slow, monotone, rhythm. :/

I'm not the type of person to be annoyed when people give me concrit--since I need it. No one's writing is perfect, especially on this site. But something bothered me about your review. I have been ridiculously high before--actually, frequently. Everyone's high is different, and just because your thoughts are lucky enough to be in tune, doesn't mean everyone else is. My thoughts often are sloppy, incoherent, or strange. I think one time I convinced myself my legs were melting and I couldn't walk. His thoughts aren't sloppy I would say, but they aren't uniformed. I mean, I understand if you didn't like the way it was portrayed, but your experience high is different for others.

And I don't think I am using a period wrong; just using my creative licence :). I think too many commas would have made that sentence run-on and I think that's worse IMO.

Thanks very much for your feedback! It means the world, really it does. I do hope you liked my little story enough to stick around for more. :)

If not, that's just fine, too. I still appreciate the sentiment.

Bwahahah, thank you for your comment. And no, I've never been in a situation like that. Got both my parentals and all. And I've been writing for about four years now. I think I just started getting somewhat decent last summer to be honest. :)

Yeah, I figured that would have been a popular response if I let something bad happen. I love when bad things happen in the context of stories, but I'm just a sucker for good endings.
