Summer of 08’…What can I say? I miss it more then I miss any other time in my life. It was a summer for firsts. The first time I laid on a roof, the first time I cried over a guy, the first time I saw someone’s bare ass… I recently realized that even though I try to have better times then those, It never works. From truth or daaare, to super hide and seek, it’s all there in the back of my mind. There’s only a few people who have the same memories as me, and I don’t know about you guys but I wouldn’t want to forget this for the world. I know it was two years ago and everything’s changed but..those memories will never fade. People moved, others changed everything about them, and some are still the exact same, be we all now what went down that summer. Right when the parental unit left the house, the bad decisions began, but they weren’t decisions that would mess up your life. They were the ones you would only make with your closest friends; like taking a dump on the sidewalk or hanging out in abandoned houses. Blasting techno music and shuffling before it became too mainstream will always be something I want to relive, along with laying out in the backyard and starring up at the “flower star”. Lachuga lane kids will never die.This summer is my favorite.. It’s the summer I realized that you don’t have to take life so seriously. So, kick back and eat some burnt enchiladas. It’s all you can do.(:
