Yeah, new to me, too! >__< I'm struggling so bad trying to figure out how to start TGL. O___o I have NO idea. Should I start with her, Cle, and Jor training? Or skip right to Kairi's birthday party? Or somewhere else completely?! *headdesk*

Yeah, I get that, but all the books are completely integrated with one another. They're not just a sequence of events. There are things in earlier books that set up later events, and if I don't plan it out ahead of time, I'd have to go back and do a lot of rewriting. The very first time I wrote TGL (Back then TGR) without planning, it was a mess. Most of the events didn't even line up with each other and there were a lot of plot holes. Even a rough outline to get the gist of what each book is about would help.

And thanks for the SH comment! :D I'm really starting to have fun with it now. I've been waiting to get to this point for a long time.

Ah, I think the hardest thing is that I don't know where the story should start, or how. :S I've been doing a lot of writing research, and everywhere I look says that a good novel establishes the setting, main character(s), and main conflict in the first few pages. I dunno how to do that with this story. X__X The main conflict is the war, but that doesn't begin officially until book 2... O.o Then the whole Beast thing... How could I lead into that in the first 3 pages?! Hrmph. >:(

I said this to myself as I was posting it. I think what I'll do is repost, with added *better* ending. I just wanted to put it out there and see what you guys thought, since it sucks to work hard on something and then scrap it when you're finished, you know? At least you liked everything but the cliffhanger, so yeah... :/
