I'm terrible at trying to describe pronunciations, so hopefully, I don't fuck this up. Cadeau is the French word for present.
The "Ca-" is kind of like the "ca-" in cat.
The "-deau" is pretty much the word "doe" (female dear).
I hope that helps. There are also language sites you can find that'll pronounce it.

Eh, it has to do with psychopathy. I talked about it with my psychology professor, who told me that once you fall for a psychopath, it's just soo good that you're never going to fall out of love with them, no matter how much they hurt you. :( She said her mother fell in love with a psychopathic man way back when, and even though he abandoned her, cheated on her, and other things, she was still madly in love with him and chased after him for a while, even though he'd moved on and gotten with another woman.

:D Think whatever makes you happier. There's quite a few hints toward that, too, actually. Very subtle hints... but they're there if you look hard enough.

Mind you, there are TWO really huge twists that the story's been leading up to. one of them is going to be chapter 22. :) I wanna see if I can write up to there tonight.... I've got about 5 hours till I'm going to bed, so I might be able to get a chapter out of that. :( Poop. I'll have to stop before my-- WAIT. I just realized that I've already WRITTEN chapter 22! HAHA! WIN. Okay, you MIGHT be getting two new chapters tonight. *rubs hands together evilly*

Eh, like I said, you need to have watched the thing I'm referring to to understand that I'm referring to it. So you probably just haven't seen it before! (I'll make a note in a couple chapters about it. Everything that I've been hinting about will actually be revealed in just 2 chapters! (if all goes according to plan). :D

No, that's fine! The problem with this book is that the entire time I'm actually manipulating you (the readers), so I need feedback to know whether I'm manipulating you correctly. :P I won't tell you whether your guesses are right or wrong, but it'd really help me write the story if I had some idea of whether I was writing it correctly or not.

Nah, I was talking with them about it, and it's not that they don't like him, it's that they're getting a creepy vibe from him. Just want you to know that the entire story is a big mind game. I'm manipulating what you think of all the characters, and what you see on the surface isn't what's actually happening--like a mask. So believe what you want and hold onto those beliefs because they'll change and evolve with the story as I guide you all to the ending. *waves hands dramatically* O__o Okay that got a bit too deep. Hmmmmmmm Yeah, don't listen to what the other comments say and just keep thinking whatever you're thinking. Don't let what they say influence you. Only pay attention to the STORY. Got it? :D

Oh, I'd been going more for the whole thing when V was... y'know.. alive. :) I just loved how we never saw his face or learned who he was exactly, how he sent everyone masks and made them fight for themselves, using the mask to unite them all and literally turn them into a single person--V.
