My name is Rianne. Please don't call me that.

For the past few years of my life I have been known as Ree to almost everyone. My friends, people I meet, even my family call me Ree.
I'm also known as ReeVenge, Captain Ree and Ree Ree.
Wow. A whole lot of variety there.

I'm 16 years old.
I turned 16 on the 2nd of May, 2008. Sometimes I wish I could stay a kid forever, yet part of me just wants to grow up.

I'm from Australia. And I don't say g'day, thank you very much. I don't really like it here that much. I'd much rather live in the UK, Canada, Sweden or The Netherlands. Or maybe France or Germany.

I have a Bettie Page fixation, and I love posters and pictures of WWII propaganda. For some reason people think that's weird, but I just love things from the past. I think Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn, Judy Garland and Doris Day were some of the most beautiful and talented women ever. I love musicals, and you'll often find me singing the soundtrack to West Side story under my breath.

I have trouble sitting still for long periods of time, and I'm deathly scared of silence. These factors might have contributed to my love of music and dance, or possibly vice versa. I could never imagine a world without music. Ever since I was young I've loved to sing and dance, not necessarily very well, but with heart. I've been told I have a good voice, and that I'm a good dancer, but I think part of me will never believe this.

Another thing I've always liked to do is write. English has always been my best subject, and I enjoy it so much. I don't think people realise that writing is a part of me, and always will be. It's one of my releases, and a hideaway from the stresses of the outside world. When I write I can create my own place, my own characters. They can look and act however I want. Their stories are controlled by me. It gives me a sense of power, and security. At some of my more stressful stages in life, my characters have become my best, and sometimes only, friends. I love them, and I love seeing their lives unfold before me on the page, or the screen, or simply in my head.

When I started writing this profile I told myself I wouldn't let it get lengthy and out of hand. And yet again, I have shown the absolute minimal in self-restraint. Ha ha.
When I write, and that's anything really, letters stories, notes, profiles, etc, I tend to... well, as you can see, I ramble on a bit. I just have trouble stopping myself.
But I can at least take pride in the fact that this, out of my many profiles on different sites, is the most honest.
