I can go places by myself without being scared, as long as it's sunny and there are little kids around or I see bike riders. Or little dogs. Things like that give me the feeling of safety :)

I always, in the dark, tell myself that if someone was following me I would hear the leaves crunching. When camping

My sister refuses to go camping with us, because she's afraid a spider will get into the tent. One never does, but she still refuses too ^_^

Just know you're not alone in your fear of spiders and that it's not stupid of you to be afraid

Ah, it depends on the spider. Daddy long legs don't scare me because They are almost unnoticable. But anything bigger than that. . . .Once I saw a spider and it jumped really high. I probably woke the neighborhood screaming. Eventually I managed to throw a plastic tupperware bowl at it. . . . and it was trapped. I sorta kicked it outside.

Yah... I wear one around my neck now, every day. Trust me, it might seem impossible but you'll conquer your fears one day.

I do that too the minute I saw it I was like blocking my eyes trying to back out or get to the next chapater haha. It sucks it's wierd because I used to like spiders I remeber once when I was like 5 maybe 6 we had a swing set and there was one on the swing set and I was pretty much face to face with it.
A lot of the things you wrote though I can relate to.
I'm in and out of realtionships all the time because I wanna be with someone but I'm afraid of being with someone haha. Sounds nuts =P
    It's a good story.

Of course, the dark isn't exactly my biggest fear. My biggest fear is probably becoming insane. Well, I want it and fear it at the same time. You know? I want to lose touch with reality, but I'm afraid of the consequences. Make sense?

And yeah, I actually still sleep with a stuffed animal. A Sam I Am plushie, and a stuffed dog I've had since I was 2. It was a birthday gift, I got it while in the hospital getting surgery. :)

That's what I thought at first. However, there was a particularly strange one in my dorm room one night and I was like, "Hey look there's a spider on our ceiling" to my roommate and she was like "he he he AHHH" And we ended up getting our One-With-Nature counselor to take it away... it was not as bad as I though it'd be, I quickly began to LIKE the spiders rather than fear them.
