Because anyone who jumps blindly into a freindship is either blind, stupid, or intends to decvive you. A little caution shows promise, and truthfully before you said that you wern't. You were just another girl with a pretty face. No offense, there are to many people to really call everyone special. Some people just aren't worth talking to you, but you seem like you're worth talking to.
