So far I'm only halfway through. I am actually rather terrified of reading further X'D what is Lex doing? Why is she being like this? And Mack too!

Poor Rafe! But then- he pushed Mack! My feelings don't know what they're doing, and I'm really honestly scared of what is going to happen by the time I get to the end of the chapter. I have a feeling everything is going to fall apart very messily >< :'(

Why must you do this to me??? Why?!?!?

    :@ :@ :@
    :'( ;___; TT_______TT D:

Ahh, that explains why I didn't know. I've never really liked Kate Bush, simply because of Wuthering Heights :') as you can see, my hatred of the novel spreads it's tentacles far and wide X'D

I honestly don't know why you thought that would be at all possible seeing as I am a huge [s]stalker[/s] fan of your works... :)
Anyway, off to read the latest updates :D

I always think this but forget to say, but I love the lyrics on your profile. I've heard the Placebo cover of the song but not the original...

And they are double choc chip. I hope they comfort you and return you strength :)

Oh no! :( *huggles* I understand. It's so hard to rewrite things if they're lost or deleted, it's so disheartening. So I send love and hugs and cookies your way in the hopes that they'll help. <3 <3

Can I ask you a favour?

Hello miss! It's four twenty eight am here, and I really should get some sleep as I need to be somewhere at 10.30 but I thought I'd pop by your comment page (already rather badly abused by yours truly) and whine about the lack of updates on your part. It simply is not fair. One cannot go about writing intoxicating, entrancing stories, hooking people left, right and center and then not update them! I am unhappy, indeed! I demand my fix!!

Anyway, whining done, I'll just go to sleep now (if thatxs even possible anymore- I've passed through tiredness and right into a bellyache) and leave you to think that over.
Much love, my dear, your humble (psht!) fan, Blackjack :)

    Bargh!
I typed a comment and they deleted it because apparently I wasn't logged in... but I am! :@

BUUUTTTT I was after saying that I'm just perceptive like that =P but truly, it's like a summers day that's just too hot, and too humid, and you can feel the storm on the way. I'm really scared for the 'storm' :'( I want to hide under my proverbial bed and not come out until it's over D: xxx

This is true. We are both extremely and equally (although differently) awesome :D

Exactly! They don't have enough substance to stand on their own two feet and just be nice to each other! There are days- and they are many- when I just want to get in a passing TARDIS and shoot Emily Bronte in the face.
    Yeah...

Ahh, I'm glad you liked it, it was a really nice chapter, and I love the story so~~~ just wanted to show you that I do, and why. The description, as i said, really is amazing. I seriously felt like I was there. I can still remember it in my mind- being in Juno's room, the smell of paints- oils or acrylics, I feel. October on the bed, holding the curtain material- sharply white in contrast to the slightly grey ones at the window. I feel like the window is open, and there's a slight breeze.

Yeah *blush* really lovely update >.< :)

Yes! I shall read as backwardsly as I wish forever more >:D

It is such a lovely book, 'Pride and Prejudice', and so easily read. Ahh, school books are always more difficult to like than others- all of my friends who had to do those two hated them and found them ridiculously difficult and I was just sitting there, consumed in jealousy.

The thing I hated most about Wuthering Heights- apart from Lockwood's dull prose- was the vindictiveness of all the characters. And the situations they got themselves into- utterly needless. And I hated Cathy Sr. She was just a whingy bitch, really. They were all just awful people.

And, in case you couldn't tell by my gushy comment, I loved chapter six. And the ending was well done. It wasn't too hasty, and it fit very smoothly in with the rest of the chapter. So, good on you!

Yes, I can believe that. For all I hated it, Of Mice and Men was a beautiful book, well written and (seemingly unlike The Grapes of Wrath) well paced. And yes, incredibly well written. Oh, how I envy...

I hated 'Wuthering Heights' :') I promised myself, after picking it up one day and being scarred first by Lockwood's incredibly DULL narrative and then by the sudden change in narrator (I flicked ahead to the middle to see if it got better, and read a sentence in which Nelly is talking about being Cathy's nurse... DEFINITELY NOT Lockwood!) that I would never read it.
Then, as is the way of the world, it was my exam text for Literature last year. So I can appreciate it but I still hate it.
The worst thing about it being my exam text is that it was a choice of three and the other two books, The Great Gatsby and Pride and Prejudice, I love, have read and could easily read again. (P&P is my go-to, happy ending, don't want to think book.)

Dracula I hate because I've read the first sentence three times and each time it bores me half dead. I really want to read it, because I've read an excerpt from it and it was interestingly and stunningly written, but I cannot get past the first page.

I do love Little Women. The entire series ^^ although they make me sob like a little girl. I just love them.
Ooh, Gothic Literature =3 I want to read that also, but before I want to read 'The Mystery of Udolpho' and 'The Castle of Otranto' :)
Probably i will hate them like I hated Wuthering Heights, but that doesn't bother me.

My favourite classic of all time has to be 'Persuasion'. I think I love it mainly because it's so much more mature than Austen's other works. I have yet to finish 'Jane Eyre', which I quite liked when I started it however many years ago...

See? Incapable of finishing things, no sticking power.

Haha but I always do, when a book doesn't immediately grip me. Even with Wuthering Heights, I started practically reading it backwards when six months (give or take) had passed and it remained unfinished. It's just what I do. It's a good technique; it saved me from reading Pollyanna, and is what's pushing me to read Anna Karenina.
Also, from a writing perspective, I often find myself writing end bits and interesting plot bits before I write the rest so... I am guilt free in that respect! I would have no problems if someone read the end of something I had written before the start. :D

Yay! I am not as utterly incompetent as previously feared!:D heehee, well I am very excited to be able to devour la nouvelle chapitre :)

Is it any good? Because it's sitting there on my mums bookshelf like 'you should read me... read me!' and I'm all 'yeah but I hated Of Mice and Men', so I'm scared to open it in case I hate it.
Also, I can only read short/easy books currently because I'm also reading a trillion huge books and I feel traitorous and adulterous reading other books. I've been reading Anna Karenina since last November at the very least and I haven't even finished the first part yet.
Although I read the end. It was very good.
I also read the end of the Grapes of Wrath, now that I think of it. I did not understand it.

    /rambling

    Your favourite book thus far?

Encouragement? Ahh, well I can hazard that... never thought I was too encouraging though =/
But, on that note, let it be known that I am reading A Lucky Fourth and eagerly awaiting more. And when I say eagerly, i actually mean impatiently.

I would have commented but I have nothing worthwhile to say except that I like it, and I am intrigued. I am waiting for my mind to come up with a truly meaningful comment, as I feel I should share those from time to time. I don't know why I'm so crap with expressing my feelings on things, but I am. But i'm working on it :)

    urm sooo....
    Gimme a B!
    Gimme an R!
    Gimme an I!
    Gimme an E!

Brie!!! <-<- lame attempt at encouragement.
    i'll stop now.
I'll also stop bothering your comment box as I am rambling. My brain feels sloshy because i've just finished reading Slaughterhouse Five on three hours sleep. I feel I've been reading it for about twelve almost consecutive hours.
    bleh,

Au Revoir, and I look forward to updates :)
