Exactly. I remember once a friend was going on about a band, and I didn't know they were screamo so I downloaded a couple of their songs and went to listen to them and I was like 'what IS this???' when the screaming started... not nice. c;

Yeah, I have a few friends who like scream and quite heavy stuff, too. Personally it's not my cup of tea...

I don't think my friends DON'T like them, they just don't like them half as much as I do, so it annoys them, too c: to be honest, a lot of my friends have different music tastes, which is kinda nice, but it means we have hardly any mutual bands that we like :c

Ah, my friend didn't really go hipster she totally went to the opposite end of the spectrum and started listening to like rap and r&b; I think it was mainly to try and fit in though... :/
Awesome! I love them almost as much as Panic! but I actually have a friend who really likes them too so I get to talk about them more at school without being told to shut up ;D

That's the same for me, well, it wasn't really Panic! that she was into, but MCR & FOB more. But yeah, we're not really close anymore, and besides, she's toooootally changed her music taste since then c:

I know! God, I love how all of the albums sound so different, but you can totally tell its all still the same band.

wow, that's a lot! But yeah, I really do think that Panic! are one of the only bands where I can honestly say I love pretty much every one of their songs c:
But I guess my favourites off each album (I'm only letting myself pick 2 each ;) ) are probably, But Its Better If You Do, There's A Good Reason..., When The Day Met The Night, Mad As Rabbits, Trade Mistakes and Nearly Witches, although I really love all of the bonus tracks off V&V a lot too.
