Nerd: To Be or Not To Be?
What exactly is a nerd? What exactly is a nerd? Somebody who spends all day on World of Warcraft? Somebody who can speak fluent Klingon? Somebody who knows more celestial bodies than celebrities? The definition of the word “Nerd” has evolved to mean so may different things and apply to so many people, how can we be sure that everyone isn’t a nerd? There’s a new type of nerd out there, one that takes the old definition and crushes it with a broad sword. Nerd used to be a negative term, but now, it’s a stereotype that one can hold with pride.
