I'm so sorry it took me so long to read/comment! I've been MIA from a lot of things recently and I don't even have a good excuse. Just...life. You know? You know. But yes! I loved the updates so much!
Having the time is the big factor, you're right. It seems that lately, when I've actually had the inspiration/motivation to do some writing, I haven't been able to because I was working or busy with other things. Ugh. So frustrating haha
Ooooooh! I love the title. Is it something that you want to have published? I hope to be able to read it!
Well aside from trying to work on Frailty, I have a few original ideas in my head that I'm trying to plan. Nothing concrete, just bare bone plots at the moment but I really do want to get back in to writing, so I'm trying! Keeping my fingers crossed haha
Jumping between perspectives while in first person has always seemed so odd to me and I really have no idea why. Maybe because I've never actually come across any story that's done it successfully? You totally could though! Why is it always so hard to decisive when it comes to writing!? I am probably the worst, I can never seem to make up my mind with anything. If you do decide to go back to first person and just change perspectives, I'm totally behind you. I think anything you do with that story will be amazing.
I'm TRYING to participate in NaNoWriMo this year. I've managed to write a little bit every day--though nothing for my own stories, I've been helping my friend with chapters for something she's writing, I don't think that counts?--but the month is still early, so we'll see how it goes lol. I actually wrote a couple paragraphs for Frailty tonight, so bonus for me! It's more than I've done in months.
I'm sorry to hear that your computer crashed! That's the worst. I hope it's behaving now :)
Being able to read Zacky's POV is going to be so interesting. It will bring something new to the story and put a different spin on things and I'm so excited for it all. Man, you're really making me itch to write or revamp some of my stories. If only I had the motivation uuuuuuuugggh
I hope you got caught up on your editing! I'm about to read your update right away :)
Balls-to-the-wall crazy hahaha WELL. I would say it's like that a good 85% of the time...possibly more, depending on the time of year, what's going on in the city, things like that. The thing about the ER is that we never know what things are going to be like. Every day is different, every shift is different from the last. Things can change in an instant. Some days are steady, others are chill, and lots we feel like we're flying by the seat of our pants. Adrenaline junkies, the lot of us XD
That definitely is a win, win. Be careful, I might ask you to edit for me one of these days :P I mean, that would require that I actually WRITE something but you know. Anything is possible lol
Yep, I'm still in the ER. I honestly can't imagine being anywhere else. I'm always looking at job postings for other units and other hospitals, but I never think "oh I could really see myself there". Maybe one day I'll decide to move on but I'm still happy where I am--despite all the chaos and frustration and shifts that are damn near unbearable haha. You're right though, I'd rather be drama free.
It's amazing what a small change can do to help, isn't it? I'm glad things are going more smoothly for you and I hope they continue that way! I'm looking forward to all the reading
It seems way too long since we've talked! I hope you're doing well otherwise <3
OMG do you remember meeeee? I dropped off the face of the earth for the last year and have a couple diplomas that prove I was actually doing something ;) but I thought about this place the other day and I miss it. You're still here and amazing! I just wanted to stop by and say hey :)
Hey, love! I've been gone for forever now, but I wanted to come back and wish you a happy birthday! I hope you have the most wonderful day and that life is being good to you like you deserve. HAPPY BDAY
I wouldn't say it's obvious. Sometimes being too patient in writing just means that things get dragged out too long, you know? You're doing great! But I don't have to tell you that
