What breeds do you usually see in your store?

And Great Danes are pretty big but once you see a Irish Wolfhound, St Bernard, or Mastiff your gonna think that Great Dane was a pretty average sized.

I know what you mean by a pet department store. Pet Smart basically does that too, but sell some pets like hamsters, lizards, birds, and fish. The store works with the Humane Society to help cats and dogs get adopted. Its craziness on the weekend. I don't think I could see myself working out in the store though.

I tried going to school to become a vet tech. I got my vet assistant certificate. The tech program would have been 2 years and I was so behind in classes that I needed to even qualify for the tech program. When I first tried getting jobs with vet clinics I worked with a job coach for 8 months. They wanted someone with work experience.

One of the clinics called back and I got a job there. Worst place to work. I worked one day a week checking on the dogs and cats that were being boarded over night. Fed them and gave them their meds and let them go outside to use the bathroom.. The vet was an asshole. I worked there for maybe 3-4 months before I got the job at pet smart.

Where do you live? I don't even know if were in the same country.. lol

What is your job in pet care? I do enjoy my job though there's a lot of cleaning that comes with the job. I've thought about taking that next step and becoming a groomer. It can be very crazy in the salon in general especially around holidays. People get really crazy during the holidays when it comes to getting their pet a hair cut or bath.

Though a lot of the costumers are from Rita Ranch a retirement community. So there's a lot of old people who treat there dogs like there own children.

As for the environment I work in it just depends on what salon you work at. My co workers can be very blunt but I love most everyone there. There are a few people who I feel should look into a different line of work. I sometimes ask myself "Who and why did they give you this job?".

I enjoy working with dogs though. There are a few breeds that can be difficult to work with. You do start to dislike certain breeds after awhile. It comes with the job.

I hope you feel better hun. Being sick sucks. A lot of things have changed for me within the last year. I got job as a dog bather. I moved out of my parents house. I'm still down the street from them but the rent was the cheapest place I could find. I've been at Pet Smart for about a year. I gotta say there's A LOT of fucking drama in the work place though. It's kinda sad considering my salon manger is the source of it all.

Exhausted. Yes, I traveled to South Dakota for my vacation.

No worries, I've been in very much so the same mood for quite some time now. I've started writing again after a couple of weeks of being so exhausted from work. It's slow and steady but it's there. And surprisingly its on le... lol.

Yeah, new/old A7x lol. I'm going to finish some of the stuff I meant to finish years ago...

I have a lot of original ideas too, I'm going to be posting here as well as like several other places.

So I'm getting back in the routine of it all, because I've been so out of it. Been working a lot, and my family and I are moving soon, so nothing will come out until probably August, but I'm trying lol.

I'm trying, it's a slow speeding train. Something is still kind of going on, but I'm in the process of getting it figured out. Let's just say having been through all this last year, I don't really like doctors lol.

I'm hoping it goes alright. I'm working on a new A7x story and it seems to be going well so far.

I am posting more on my blog than anywhere else right now cause I'm also a book blogger ;)

I've been known to have good timing. Lol.

Also, shit's been NUTS the past year or so. I had life saving surgery around July of last year and I'm still not quite on the game again, but I decided since Mibba made me happy (until some stuff happened) I was going to come back! I checked out your site, totally awesome! I have been around blogging but I couldn't come back until I did lol. It just wasn't happening. But anyway, I'm happy to be back and cannot wait to get back to writing, if my brain will let me lol.

I've been okay. I worked all weekend so now I'm enjoying my one day off before going back to work tomorrow. Working nights on New Year's Eve is always entertaining haha
