what's been going on?

Currently: cold, tired, writing
Updated: Lost sometime soon, hopefully

I am not currently making banners.

As I'm sure you already know, I'm working on re-writing the chapters that I lost in my computer crash a few weeks ago. I'm pleased to say that I've caught up on Crash Into Me (to the point that I've even started a chapter I hadn't started before) and now I'm focusing on getting Lost up to speed. Chapter six is done, and chapter seven is well on its way. Slowly but surely, we're getting there.

Keep in mind that I do have work and assignments, though. I'm also human and tend to need to sleep. =P

Thank you all for the well-wishes that you've been sending, even when I least expect them. I'm feeling much better these days. Keeping an eye out for my evil pain, but so far things are going well. If I can last until the end of the month without getting it, I'll be happy.

In the meantime, if you're looking for something fantastic to read, I have a list of recommended stories right down there. ;) Enjoy.

what should you be reading?

The Story: Shadows Creed [NC-17] by the mice endure
The Fandom: Avenged Sevenfold
The Reason: if you want something deeper than your average fan fiction, than this is where your search ends. It's like reading one of the classics in terms of its plot, and I honestly can't get enough of it. I met the author on Tumblr and couldn't be more thankful for it - she's as amazing as her story! Everybody should give this one a read! You won't regret it!

The Story: Antigravity [R] by cardiotoxicity
The Fandom: Avenged Sevenfold
The Reason: it's not something that I would usually read, but once I started I found I couldn't stop. The characters in this story are amazingly written. The protagonist has a serious drug problem, but the author writes it in such a way that she manages to show that the MC doesn't have a problem with this all while somehow not glorifying the issue. Six chapters in, I'm growing more and more curious about what's to come. Great for Brian fans!

The Story: The Astor Hotel [NC-17] by Rocket Queen
The Fandom: Avenged Sevenfold
The Reason: my writings on here so far haven't shown it, but I'm a huge fan of the paranormal - so this story called to me at once. Brian is author to a popular series of non-fiction books about haunted places, and his latest project is the Astor Hotel - where people go in but do not come out alive. It's well written, gripping and it (literally) had me on the edge of my seat. Words cannot express how eager I am for an update on this one. There's so much mystery...

The Story: In Summer Skies. [NC-17] by Katrina ;
The Fandom: Avenged Sevenfold
The Reason: put simply, Katrina's work is stunning. I've enjoyed every one of her stories that I've read - they're always original and the plots always keep me on the edge of my seat! So even though this one only has a single chapter so far, it's a must. It's the sequel to Sing Me A Summer, and it already looks like it's going to be amazing. Definitely give these (and all her stories!) a read if you like unpredictable drama!
