Na, I totally understand what you're saying about your weird habits. I get them myself just not quite as full on as that. My OCD is really centered on organisation of items, particularly my collection of over 250 novels, and on routine. I start freaking out if I don't do things in a certain order before bed.
But definitely do it in Word. Remember, finishing a story is about persistence, not about past attempts :)

Well you don't have to post every day! Jeez, I take about a week to post. Have you tried typing into word first? That's what I do. And copy and paste from there. Much safer.

Yeah, I absolutely love it. I've edited it a bit to get it to what I wanted (picture, colours and lyrics) but I got it of this site http://lieslikelullabies.webs.com/
If you go into 'content' on that site and read the instructions carefully, it will take you to a whole bunch of awesome layouts to choose from. There are tons of sites like it but I really like the style of these ones, that and some people don't like you to edit them. But yeah, that's where I got it :)

No, I totally understand what you're getting at. I do that too. Well, actually, only for Autumn and Winter. Summer and Spring I get too pissed off with the season to really see it in a more poetic light.
You're so lucky you get snow...I'm so jealous. Though gray snow wouldn't be that great, I have to admit.

The coast is good if you're into summer shit but I really can't stand the heat. That and my skin has always been porcelain white so I burn really easily. It wouldn't be so bad if it would rain in between but it doesn't :(

Wow, it snows here but only in the mountains which are like a two hour drive away. I wish it would snow here. Stupid coastal city...
Hmm...I'm not sure but there will only be a 6 month difference either way. I think I'll graduate first but I'm not sure. I'll ask you when it comes to it. Haha.
Basically we have seasons exactly like yours, just at opposite times of the year, because of the sun's tilt. In your winter, it's our summer. Our winter, your summer. It's still hot during summer, and cold during winter. But basically when it's cold for you, it's hot for me. Just the opposite :) If that made any sense at all XD

I suppose it is helpful when you can get emotion to write poetry. I've always failed with poetry, but then again, I don't feel a whole lot apart from anger. I'm a bit odd. I'll read your poem too :)

That's awesome! Yeah, I hate getting all paranoid about it and stuff. But I do try to watch as many films and read as much possible to educate myself about what's out there, what I like and what I don't, and the ideas in it. I think that's the only thing you can do. But horror movies are pretty much one big cliché, if you think your idea is original, it most likely is - especially if you haven't even seen the movies. Personally, I don't watch a lot of horror. I prefer psychological thrillers but I get a lot of my influences from the Silence of the Lambs, and Dexter *fangirls over Dexter*. So don't sweat it :)

Still, it's pretty bad of me. But I am like this with pretty much everyone...haha. I'm so lazy. What kind of things do you write or like to write about? I might be able to help you. Or there are websites that have idea prompts. Personally, I spew story ideas because I have a pretty wild imagination (which induces paranoia so frequently too...). I actually have a notebook dedicated to random ideas I get.
And yes, squeamish is a legitimate word. Haha, I share your pain. As mentioned before, I have terrible paranoia but I can't help myself from reading/writing/watching this kind of stuff.

I'm glad you like it even enough to tell your friends about it. That seriously means a lot. That actually sounds so funny. I bet anyone who didn't know exactly what you were talking about would be a little...uncomfortable? I don't know if that's the right word XD I actually got the idea about the plastic in the foot, in particular, from a children/12 year old book series I read (I read pretty much anything, except for erotica novels O.O), where the Dad gets captured but he was a fan of Houdini when he was younger and had put a piece of metal in the skin of his foot so he could get out of the trap. I thought it was a cool idea.
