ohh gotcha. People don't necessarily care for band geeks either hahaha. I think that a lot of schools' cheerleading teams are pathetic hahaha. Like our school has a large population of black people or african americans (though, all black people aren't AA so that's why I say it and I'm not trying to be racist because I've obviously got black friends) and my sister and I just talk about how stupid it would be to let white girls be in cheerleading because it's generally harder than pomkits and to be honest, white people can't dance hahaha. Generally not at least.

Our cheerleaders can do cool flips but they don't do shit. Our legitimate cheerleaders, not pomkits. Everyone loves the cheerleaders and pomkits and football and volleyball. Band has to get more respect because we ARE the best (literally the best, we've won 3 Grammys in the past for outstanding school or something) unlike our football team who only won one home game, not to mention starting out the season losing 40-0, then losing homecoming. The best part is that the marching band makes fun of them for that and we're like SUCKASSSSSS

hahahahaha no one likes our school band. All they care about is pomkits (we're wildkits) so basically pomkits is not cheerleaders but dancers who shake their stuff if they've got any to bad mixes of jumbled songs so basically when they perform literally, the whole marching band just has that "I am not amused" on their faces. Like really, when we perform first and we're almost done but not done, the crowd chants "we want pomkits" and we're like "well fuck you we're awesome in our snazzy uniforms you don't see pomkits getting 2nd place in the division with the highest scores in general music and visual effects over all divisions at a competition now do you" hahaha so we're pretty prideful. and yes that is my plan hahaha. As soon as I can get my hands on a mello. Or just trumpet because my friend said I could borrow her dad's old trumpet. My band director will never know until senior year.

That's so cool! Sometimes I wish I was a percussionist because that means that I could be in drumline and drumline is only the coolest part of marching band. But like right now my goal is either french horn/mellophone or trumpet. Anything brass basically, but my band director doesn't want me to probably because he thinks that I'll quit flute.

hahahahaha talk to that dude then! and if he's over 18, I guess you could date him regardless and wait till you're 18 too or you can like wait till he pisses you off (I saw this somewhere, not my words haha) then be like "surprise! I'm 17! Go to jail" if you are still 17 I think you are hopefully I'm right or this is awwwkkkk hahaha. and Nice! congrats!

I'm just being a little loserface (or as my flute section leader says I am, one of the biggest band geeks she's ever met) and watching our marching band show over and over again on the interwebz and watching drum corps videos too because I miss marching band hahahaha. But I did make middle band, which not many freshman usually get into, so yay for not being stuck in middle band!

and yay for vb season going well! My school's vb is like undefeated hahahaha. and good luck on that quest for a manfriend! You can do it!! hahaha (and I literally just said yaaay when I saw the update for Break Your Little Heart)

I am team John for sure haha. I used to be team halvo but he was just too much of a mess that chapter. It'll be interesting to see how everyone responds to the news that John is a dad.
