  • Wuthering heights is old English too make sure to get a copy unabridged...with a translation of the harder words. It took me almost three days to read it but now it only takes me about an hour because i'm very familiar with old english. And make sure you check out a book by ellen hopkins i'm sure you'd love it they are SO SO SOOOOO much better than what's out right now. lol seriously i forced all my friends to read them and they loved it...even the ones that think reading is nerdy. so please try them :) my favourite was impulse and identical the endings left me with chills they were so amazing

  • It's a love story but it's so complex and detailed and just amazing. So basically there is a Father and he goes on a road trip brings an orphan home, that falls in love with his daughter, and the brother hates him. The father dies The brother makes the boy a slave and the girl marries another boy. then the next part is the best so i don't really want to tell you because it might ruin the story. But the storyline is so detailed and complex and just to die for. Like romeo and juliet but with a lot more going on. So yeah. If you want to check out more modern books check out Ellen Hopkins. She is amazing too, she writes a story in a poetic format and her best are identical, crank, and Impulse--she's where i get my writing inspiration from she also has some amazing poems on her website that aren't really as good as her stories though. Crank's about her daughter becoming a drug addict; it's very real because it happened to her family, and the sequels are fantastic too. Just wanted to share those with you because they are just brilliant. Kind of like shakespeare but modern. Aha sorry about the rant :$ I'm just a book reader

  • I've never read Hamlet, But I've read Romeo and Juliet and I find that although Shakespeare is indeed great, I prefer other authors of that time like emily bronte, Wuthering heights is my favourite novel. My aunt told me about hamlet, but i never actually began to read it...but hearing about Ophelia is kinda interesting so maybe i will. Have you ever read wuthering heights?

  • Thank you so so so much but i don't think the rhymings the talented part it's much much much harder to get the flow of the words so it doesnt seem robotic, but more of a personal one on one type thing! I hope my poem does that for you, and i hope that you never experience the pain that so many people go through. I'm so glad you liked it and commented thank you thank you thank you!!!!
    Sincerely

  • Yeah, if you Youtube "In a world of my own Emilie Autumn" there's a song she recorded as a part of the Opheliac companion extra disc thing... It's absolutely divine.

I'm quite... I don't know... I feel like painting, but I can't find my freakin' paint brushes. So I'm annoyed and jumpy-feeling.

I love music... It's so ever changing and yet, it's always the same... If you can make sense of that.
    I listen to Gaga, too.
Music to me is... It's the air that I breathe, it's the blood that pumps through my veins, y'know... It's what keeps me alive. I don't know what I'd do without it.
I listen to it first as just a song but then, once I learn the lyrics I start to listen to it as a whole like composition, sort of thing...
But I gotta say, The Doors at three o'clock in the moning is freakin' trippy, it's like the music is EVERYWHERE....

    I can really ramble...
    I blame insomnia.
    DAMN YOU INSOMNIA!

  • I cried for days at the end of Emily's story. That book is just... Too wonderful for words.
It's sorta sad that she doesn't sing any of her Enchant stuff anymore, I really miss it... But I love her now also... Yeeeeeeeeeeah :)

    So, how are you?
What sort of music do you listen to (other than Emilie)?
I'm going to make me some tea. c:

  • Shakespeare was Elizabethan, and I know it SUCKS, although it would be good to have some new material to listen to ~ And it means another fucking TOUR!
I hope it's not TOO metal and un-Emilie-like... But I suppose anything that Emilie writes is Emilie-like.
Have you read The Asylum For Wayward Victorian Girls?
I do quite miss the Enchant era, though.... Emilie was faerie...
You know, that's how I discovered her! Not through the Opheliac era, but through the Enchant era...
    Anywhat, I've rambled enough!
    Cheerio XxX

Oh my god, I used to HATE my name until Emilie brought out Opheliac...
It seems we have a bit in common <3
