I know it seems like there couldn't possibly be anyone better than him, but believe me there will be. Hearts are very hate-able things considering they swell up and trick our minds and then shatter and leave us hurt for quite some time...

Aww, I know the feeling. Don't feel desperate. Right now, all you can still think about and want is him. But once someone better comes along..it won't be like that anymore. They say it gets better with time and it does, even if it takes a long time, it really does. Have faith(:
