So um, I pretty much have no time to write any more. Between my senior year and my first job, it's just not happening. If I get something out (unlikely), then that'll be great, but I'm pretty much dead to the world whenever I'm at home. Sorry, guys.

My name is Melissa. I'm so close to being eighteen, I can basically brush my fingers over the concept of adulthood. Texas is the only state I've lived in-- same city, same people, same house. It's pretty alright, though, not as many horses as most people think. Most of my time is spent either with my friends, or typing away on this very keyboard. Writing will more than likely be the death of me, but at least I'm kind of good at it. Honestly, I'm just your average nerd. I enjoy reading, Star Wars, old school video games, and being right all the time. The word arrogant leaves an all too familiar taste in my mouth, even if I only show that side of myself around those closest to me. Music has dragged me through both the peaks and valleys of my life-- Eighteen Visions, Avenged Sevenfold, Bleeding Through, Motionless in White, Morrissey, The Spill Canvas, and My Chemical Romance helping the most. I, like many other people, would be nowhere without those bands. I'm nothing special, but I am smart enough to come to terms with that.
Random Tid- Bits: I've got one best friend, and though a lot of people think we're the same person, we're actually extremely different. I'm completely in love with sheep and Monarch Butterflies. AriZona Sweet Tea is like a drug to me. My favorite authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald, Nathaniel Hawthorne, and Lemony Snicket. I've more than likely watched the movie Shakespeare in Love over forty times. My eyes suck. I text like a boss.
