Hi! I've read your comment on an article called "The Truth About Rebellion", and I must say, it seems you know a lot about the punk subculture. Incase you don't remember your comment, here it is:

In the eighties and nineties, the punk culture emerged, and with it Glory Spikes and Mohawks.
This is wrong. Punk emerged about in 1975 and mohawks weren't really worn then - that was 80s hardcore. In England it was spikes. In America it was long hair - like the Ramones. They also weren't ALL for anarchy. I'm not sure about the American scene (since I don't really liked it) but the UK scene was kind of about equality between social classes since it was mainly working class in the scene.

And from the punk culture stemmed what we refer to today as “emo” and what originally was known as “emotional hardcore”.
Emo came from hardcore which came from punk. It may sound like I'm picky, but I'm not. The punk from the 70's evolved into the hardcore scene. Eventually, a branch of that evolved into emo. While hardcore is punk, the hardcore that became emo really isn't.

I was wondering if I could ask you a question. Are you familiar with the genre known as Oi!? From what I've been told, it started in the UK and was about the working class and equality in society and things of that nature, but then the white-supremisists came and ruined it by stealing the skinhead style and by making music that sounded like Oi! but had racist lyrics. Is this true? Also, is it true that the original skinheads were Oi! punks and not racist? If this true, could you give me a list of Oi! bands that aren't racist and believe in the original message of Oi! (unity, equality, etc)? Also, is The Anti-Nowhere League a real Oi! band (not racist)? Thank you.

You haven't been writing either? I really hope you'll get back into it, you're a talented writer. What's your major? Well, I work at the customer service department. It's okay, it's just not really what I want to do. I want to write. I could write for a magazine or whatever but I just really want to write. I snapped at a customer yesterday, you see. x] He said that maybe I shouldn't work with customer service. I think he might have been right. I just can't stand being blamed for stupid things that are not even my fault and the idiocy of some people. Gets on my very last nerve. -__-

Well, I haven't been on Mibba for years, really. Just checked in sporadically. But lately I've begun writing again so that's why I sorta came back here. Also, at my job I use a computer, so yeah. tehe You like college-life so far? Well, me it's work and karate all week and hanging out with friends all weekend. Life's pretty good right now. If only I could find a better job it'd be really awesome.

Bahahaa! I have a lot of...art stuff in my room. Like, A LOT. I got myself into that kind of deal when I went through a....rough spot in life. But I do more painting than anything else.

Yesssss. My computer is aging like a freaking senior citizen. Just the other day, I diagnosed it with Alzhemiers. It keeps forgetting shit, and losing crap all the time. The diagnosis suits it. When I go in to talk computer talk with the people in the big store, thats what I'm going to tell them. My computer is a freaking senior citizen.

Lol, I pretty much have an OC...sort of. Not much for the physical appearance, just more of the personality and characteristics.

O.O Really? Duuuuude. I love drawing on paper. Only because I will probably be too lazy to use a computer program thingy. But ya know, I wouldn't mind giving it a try. But then again, like you said, they are pricey buggers. And I am more concerned about getting a new computer lolololol.

Ah! I couldn't agree anymore with you! Learning is great! I am always willing to try something new. I lied, I should've said 'usually' but you get what I mean!

And you're right m'dear. I might take down all of my stories...except for one. Just cause I'm cool like that. And I'm a nerd. I don't know, I just find it so...I guess awkward to write about my favorite band...it's weird.

Ha! My friend just bought a drawing tablet! I'm not even sure if he uses it...O.o

Well, I'm glad you like school! I doubt anyone could force you to go to college.

Unless there was a major bribe involved or blackmail or something. Yikes.
