  • XD good to know. War Drums is pretty rooted in conspiracy theory, but it plays off of political issues and pandemic scares (like Swine Flu). I know that sounds lame lol, but it isn't. Basically it takes place after the destruction of the world as we know it today. I suck at explaining things lol.

  • When I start working on that story again I'd probably start posting it on here again. I pretty much stopped it because only a few people seemed to actually care for it, plus War Drums took over as my main focus, lol. I was also worried about people snatching the story from me, because I do want to publish in the future. But I will definitely notify you when I start writing it again :)

  • Hey! I just want to say, wow, thanks for the comment on my page. It sincerely makes me happy that there are people on here who enjoy original fiction and not just fan-fiction. It makes me happy.

While I'm not updating Sparrow on here anymore, I am still working on Imagine the Rhythm of the War Drums, so if you'd like the check that out feel free to :)

Again, thank you very much ^.^

  • Sorry it's been so long. I haven't been on Mibba in a while.

As for Supernatural... I don't really know what to think about this new season. It does feel off, especially since Eric hadn't initially planned on going to another season. With him no longer in charge, I'm just feeling like the show is a little lost. And the fact that the CW is already thinking of going for another season is upsetting to me. If this season isn't good, I'm just going to pretend it never happened. Haha. I'm not happy about how they're saying Sam is soulless. It kinda seemed a bit too obvious to me.

Bones has been alright. I like that Angela is going to have a baby, but it also makes me fear that she's the one that is going to be killed off this season. I've heard that someone is supposed to be killed off this season and it's made me rather nervous. And I don't care for Booth's new girlfriend. She just irks me. Something about her is annoying. Haha.

  • Haha. Well, it's not like you've been married forever, but it's been a little while. I had read that you were married, I just wasn't expecting it to have been for two years. But it's great that you are going strong and found each other.

Ooh, you like Supernatural and Bones!? I love Supernatural! And Bones is another one of my favorites. TV can be such a wonderful thing. Haha. What do you think of the new seasons so far?

Thanks. Yeah, a lot of people take a while to get a four year degree because of the constant jumping around from major to major. Since I had the scholarship that only lasted four years, though, I made sure that I stuck with Psychology the whole four years since I knew I wouldn't have been able to complete school otherwise. I do enjoy Psychology, though. I just hope that I can get back to go to graduate school and build upon the degree that I have now.

  • Wow, you've been married for a while now! And I understand what you mean about not wanting to register somewhere only to find out that you have to move right away. It does put a damper on things when that happens. Well, at least this will give you some time to save up when you can and everything until the time is right.

Ooh, I get what you mean. Yeah, it's kinda hard to have a fun life when you're in a place that doesn't really have a bunch of people. Most of the time those people have known each other for years, and it's weird to be the outsider. Haha. At least that's what it was like for me when I moved to my dad's a few years back. And you've been to Italy? Sounds like that'd be fun. I haven't really been anywhere. I was born in Japan, but the last time I was there I was only 5, so I don't have very many memories of it. Haha. Hopefully you'll be able to go overseas sometime. And you can't beat seeing a good band for five bucks! Haha.

Well, I do write when I feel like it. It's just that most of the time, I've got writer's block when I wanna write. It's been a huge pain. And I do have a life outside of Mibba... Kinda. It's just hard right now since I don't really know a lot of people here and I don't get to go out much since my mom is the one that takes the car to go to work. And I'm not up for walking four miles just to go to the mall.

Oh, I've already graduated college. I graduated with a BA in Psychology with a minor in History back in May. The only problem is that for anything like counseling or something along those lines, I'll need to go to grad school for a Master's or get a PhD. I don't really have the funds to do that, so I'm out of school and searching for anything that will give me some cash to start saving up.

  • Ooh, you're married to a Navy guy? So that means that you've been plucked out of your hometown and been put in a new town. I kinda know what that's like. I'm not married or anything like that, but my dad was in the Marine Corps when I was little and we moved around a few times. So you'd have to pay out of state tuition? That sucks. How long have you been living in the state you're in now? Because I've heard that if you live in a certain state for like six months to a year makes you eligible for in-state tuition.

And it's alright about being boring. I'm pretty boring myself. I am pretty much just at home, cleaning house and spending time on the computer since I moved to my mom's after I finished college. I don't have any friends left here, since the people I knew when I was younger have all moved away, so I don't really go out much.

I've been alright, though. I've just been trying to get back into the swing of writing since some of my stories haven't been updated since early July. I'm slowly getting there. Haha.

  • Yeah, the job market is sucking a lot. I'm hoping to get something, but it's not looking that great. I may have a degree, but I don't have a bunch of work experience, so that's something that's going against me.

Aww, you don't have the money to go to college? I know what that's like. I wouldn't have been able to go if I didn't have scholarships and grants that paid for most of my schooling. I pretty much only paid for books. I was really lucky.

So, what have you been up to?
    October 25th, 2010 at 05:06am
  • About the same has been going on with me. I haven't really been doing much since I graduated college, just searching for a job and that isn't going very well. Haha.

  • Thanks for the add! How are you?
