Oh, I was thinking of creating a fictional former hockey player, someone who played in college and AHL but quit after a few years to pursue a career in business. I have a long term goal of self publishing something and it seems easier to start with a complete fictional story than converting a fanfic. But I haven't felt inspired lately to write, I have been reading a lot though.
Haha well he'll never have that Penguin stink off him as far as I'm concerned. Probably I just don't like him though regardless of what team he's on. So I'm not a fan of everyone writing stories on him recently.
I'm trying to figure out what to work on next. I'm thinking about focusing on writing fiction, a romance with a former hockey player:) We'll see though.
I'm glad that you enjoyed Mike and Taylor finally having the talk. I need to figure out how to wrap up this story now. I saw that you're writing again! But I don't like Neal at all so I haven't really read it yet.
I am enjoying your comments! I wanted to try to show how it was for both of them, hot but also some emotions involved, too. You are right that Taylor could easily continue to be bratty towards Mike. She's not going to be easy for Mike to navigate having a relationship with her until she trusts him.
Thanks for the long comment and the rec! I'm happy that you enjoyed the slow buildup of their relationship and that it comes across as very credible. I like to be realistic when I write about relationships. Personally I am all about taking my time to build trust with anyone, in any kind of relationship.
I just posted the next chapter and it's super long, so I hope you enjoy it! My head is freaking killing me with a migraine now so I think I need a break, but I wanted to get that posted first.
Hi! Thanks a lot for your comment on my profile, and sorry for the delayed response. Just wanted to drop by and say that I am in fact working on something new. :) However, I am only two chapters in, and my preference is to have a bunch of the story written before I start posting it. Also...I've been getting really emotional while writing lately, so it ends up taking longer than it should. The saying about "blood, sweat, and tears" into a project sometimes isn't just a saying, I guess. Now that it's summer I do have a little more time to write, so hopefully I'll have something new to share sooner rather than later.
Thank you so much again for the comment! It's extremely motivational logging in to the site and seeing that there are readers who even still remember my writing even though it's been so long since I last posted. I am pumped to get writing today.
You without smut is like....I don't know, something as basic as a hockey player without a stick. Hopefully you can get into the right mode again. Maybe reading some of it will help you?
Sometimes when I feel like everything I write isn't working and coming out stilted, I make myself keep going. Eventually it get better, or I can use what I wrote as the bare bones to build upon later when I feel more creative. But lately whenever I don't feel like writing, I just don't. Hence my last chapter taking a while to post.
@ fangirl1999 Birds of the same feather flock together? Cartsy was far from being an angel when he was here, i mean, known fact that girls were kicked out right after fucking him. so yeah.
