  • (: If it's all that I can do to make you feel better/help you, I'm going to do it. I wish I could do more, you know? But I'm in flipping Missouri. So I can't. But... I don't want to ramble, but I want to make sure you know that I'd help you as much as I can.

  • I wanted to make sure that I got up early enough to wish you well. I know you're (were) nervous, so I wanted you to know that you could text me. (:

  • My friends used to do that when we were younger. I used to go, "OH REALLY? Well, if you're fat than what am I? A whale?" They thought they were insulting me so they learned real fast not to say that anymore. (:

Your new school is like my old school. My new school is waaay stricter.

    We'll survive. We will.

  • (: Yeah.

And sometimes I do too. My sister is always talking about how she's "too" skinny and I just want to hurt her so much. Because she's ridiculous.

Dude, yes way! We had nine lunch lines and a bunch of options in each. It was pretty sweet. High school had been good to me, so far.

& Yeah, tell me about it. I'm used to just taking a note to school with me when I'm late. But I don't think you get detention here. If you were late at my old school, you automatically got detention (for all classes) But in the morning they'd forgive you if you had a note/call from parent.

This is going to be a lot different.

  • One of the freshman from my softball team gave me her number. And a few other girls were more friendly tonight. Things just went a lot better than Friday's practice.

And yeah, I know how that is. I'm tired of being the big girl, too, but sometimes there's nothing you can do but try to be proud of who you are. Even if your appearance in not how you want it to be right now.

And yuck! My school usually has about 15 choices a day. Or, err, I guess it's my old school now. But I hope Hillcrest is like that. And yeah, I probably would've yelled at you too if you were being annoying. It's not her fault that you don't like the choices. She's just supposed to give them to you.

DUDE, I so can't skip. This school seems like it's going to be really strict. If you're late, you're late. No excuses. At Harlem you could take a note or have your parents call in at a later date, but noooope, not here! & That's crazy! Plus, 5 honors and one AP, I'd be so behind in four of my classes. (The joys of block scheduling. You only miss half your classes!)

  • One friend is better than no new friends!

And uugh, I hate those desks. I think some of the classrooms at my new school have them too. I hope I don't have trouble. I'm a bigger girl too, so I get where you're coming from. The thing is, you can't worry about that. You just have to take the time to get in and out of the desks carefully.

And you seriously only ate oranges? Why? What was for lunch?

And I know, I don't even want to go, but we have to. It'll get better. You'll get used to it and everything will stop being so strange and scary. I'm sorry your day wasn't the best.

  • It's just something I picked up at the library. It's called Drought by Pam Bachorz.

  • Hey, yeah. I'm not dead. Just been sucked into a book all day. It was really weird and I wanted to get to the end so I could decide if it was a good book or not. It was alright.

  • I was about to tell you goodnight, too! I have to "work" in the morning.

Goodnight! Have fun at the wedding!

  • I'll be a great picture!!

:P The person probably thought you were having a seizure or something!

  • Either way works. (; & yay, thank you!

And you definitely should. And you should maybe get a picture taken with him. Then you have legit proof to brag about. :)

  • Wow! That's awesome! He's met so many people. If you do meet him will you ask him if FIR is as cool as they seem? Personality wise? And A7X if you have time. :P

  • It's been 15 minutes, do you still remember? I promise I'll check my alerts quicker now.

  • Cliche is okay sometimes. =)

  • I'll be old before I know it though. It seems like every year goes by just a little more quickly than the last.

Ah well. All the more reason to enjoy it while I can, eh?
    August 11th, 2012 at 06:08am
  • Haha. Funny thought, isn't it? I graduated high school five years ago...missed the class reunion just this past weekend, in fact. Good god I'm getting old. xD
    August 11th, 2012 at 06:04am
  • I don't know, it depends on how things go and how distracted I get. I'll probably total six years, so I'll graduate in 2015. I'm okay with that, though. I really like school, and I'll miss it when I'm gone. I may even go back for a Master's degree, though I'm not sure what for.
    August 11th, 2012 at 05:53am
  • Sorry. I got distracted. I am doing absolutely nothing. Well, I'm thinking and being sore. but I don't think that really counts.
    August 11th, 2012 at 05:28am
  • Sounds like a good plan. =)

Yeah, I'm in my fourth year working towards my B.A. in English. Unfortunately, this isn't my last year, because I took too long to decide for sure on an English major (had a lot of fun experimenting in the meantime though) and because I can only go part time because I have to work enough hours to pay rent and all that. I decided to be stubborn and independent and get my own place when I went to college, haha.

  • D'aw. I know the feeling. I went to a pretty small school, too, so they didn't have ANY photography classes. In fact, the only "arts" classes they had were choir, band, drawing/painting (which were taught in the same class at the same time, drawing was on one side of the room and painting on the other), and pottery. =/ The joys of small town life.

It's cool that you're pursuing it on your own, though. Are you going to go to college for photography or anything?
