Hey, it's great to hear from you again - I was worried you had stopped reading! I feel like some kind of evil genius who's tormenting my readers, especially as I know that that's not the last cruel thing I'm going to do to my characters! I feel like a bad person... But the next chapter is already up, and the one after will be up either tomorrow or on Tuesday, because I think these chapters are best when they come close together. :P

Thanks for your latest story comment! (I just noticed I never replied to the last comment you left on my profile, which was rather rude of me, but Christmas kind of got in the way and I completely forgot about Mibba for a few days...)
If you're liking the traps and obstacles so far in MR, they're hopefully only going to get more exciting. This is the one story I've written that I absolutely shouldn't read late at night on my own, because it scares the shit out of me. I made that mistake the other day, and I was honestly freaking out when I went to bed. I'm not sure if that's a sign that I've written a good story, or that I just have a somewhat disturbed mind.

Oh my God we do! Yay! I have to admit, I don't know the band very well, but I downloaded The Suburbs recently and I like the songs I've heard so far, and I love love love Sprawl II!

And thank you for your comment on Martyr's Run. I'm so glad you're still reading it - I was beginning to worry that everyone had lost interest because the ending of this story is amazing but the middle part, in my opinion, is kind of good but also kind of rubbish. I've hardly been writing any Dreamers at all lately, but I really want to get back into it - I've missed them all! But book four is amazing - just as a pre-warning. I'm so excited about posting that one.

Your comments make me so happy - seriously. And I kind of hoped that I'd get a reaction like that when I mentioned Hurricane and Carl and the Master.

As a side note, I met this girl the other day, and she looks exactly like Rina. I know that sounds strange, but I have quite a vivid picture of what Rina looks like in my mind, and then this girl appeared at my school and I kept thinking she reminded me of someone, and then at the end of the day I was just like oh my god! It's Rina! That's so cool!

Aw thank you so much! I wasn't so happy with the painting in the end - it just annoyed me that the characters didn't really look how they look in my head. I'm not sure what to paint next though...I'm already out of ideas!

When I came back from the holidays, I got a bunch load of messages and your comment sort of got lost in the midst of replying... you can hate me, strip me of my meme title, I deserve it.
Oh and yes, I did go on holiday. You could have come too, but your indecision about the en suite bathroom ruined it all. Now I had to go all on my own. Haha, my sister doesn't really like to read, she thinks it's boring, *shock horror* but I'll cut her some slack as she's 8 and obsessed with Disney Channel and Hannah Montana... really? That's funny, I did a similar challenge with my friend James, the first person who finished Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix would win and the loser would have to buy the winner a chocolate bar... Damnit, he won. Had to go buy him a Lion bar. I wanted that chocolate bar! Anyway. Ah no I'm not, I think we're evenly matched in wits and smarts and any other adjective to describe intelligence. Nice Mulan reference, hehe. I know how you feel, people say that you learn from your mistakes but I never seem to learn when Challenge Accepted is involved... eugh. Nevermind. I've accepted it as a genetic flaw. Ahh yes, you have beaten me in emoticon overdosing... If I am Duchess Dea Jar of Hearts, then you are Duchess The Toeless Pobble, winner of the Emoticon Overdose 2012! Yay. Oh, did I mention that The Toeless Pobble is an awesome name?

Haha. I went out with my friends last night and we successfully managed not to get lost. We were only going from the train station to Pizza Express but still.....it wouldn't have surprised me if we got lost somewhere along the way. And besides, we were in a different town to the one we normally go to.

Urgh, I know. My strategy is usually wander round aimlessly until you find somewhere that looks like the place you're supposed to be in.

Still, I'm better than some of my friends. I refuse to let one of my friends take charge of directions anymore because even when she knows the place we're going to she still manages to get us lost.

Oh. That's not so good. I'm not so great at map reading in general - we were on holiday last week and my mum's just going 'oh, we need to take this road and that road and then that road' and I'm just looking at her like '...how the hell do you know that?'

Hahaha yeah, it's difficult to use at first - I only worked out how to use streetview about two weeks ago, but it's useful. I use it a lot to help me work out how long it would take to get from one place to another place (particularly during Hurricane and Arjan's journey).

Thanks for the comment - I've never actually been to California, or any part of America, so every place I mentioned in that chapter came from Google Maps. It's amazing how much you can find out from the internet.

I'm really glad you mentioned the character interaction in that chapter because I thought it was awful! When I re-read that scene, it basically sounded like I had introduced two characters and therefore was desperately (and pretty poorly) trying to develop their personalities.

Yep they're all going to be back together again! And it will (hopefully) be amazing! I don't think it will reach 989 pages, though of course book pages are smaller than Word pages (so I'm thinking Chasing Imagination would be around 400 book pages).

I'm not sure about the chapters either, because I split them differently when I'm writing on Word than when I upload to Mibba, because otherwise one chapter is like 4000 words long, and I think that's a bit too much to read in one go on the Internet (that's why some of the chapters are cut off in really annoying places). So Chasing Imagination has 30 chapters on Word, and so far I think book four has 29 chapters.

Of course Hurricane and Arjan are coming back - there's no way I was going to stop writing about them after just one book! I love them both too much. And Amy and Casper will be back too. And some of the Martyr's Run characters. And that will cause all kinds of crazy, exciting, ridiculous situations.

I've just about sorted the Hurricane/Arjan scene now. It will probably change a bit when I go through and edit, but for now it's sufficient. And then I realised just how long book four is - I'm nowhere near the end, and I've written 170 MS Word pages. (Chasing Imagination is 174 pages, to give you an idea.) So at the moment, it's going to be the most ridiculously long story ever.

Jeans and a t-shirt are always a safe bet. But I managed to wear 3/4 length trousers today when I went into London, which I'm considering to be quite an achievement! (Although, it's always warmer in London.)

And thanks for your latest comment. It made me very happy! I liked those chapters - now I've just got to make sure the rest of the story meets that standard.

Oh, and I hope you don't mind if I just briefly rant about Hurricane/Arjan. I've been writing one of their scenes for book four, and they are the most annoying pairing to write ever. I love them, but I've been tearing my hair out for the past few nights trying to get their scenes right. And of course it's the most ridiculously long scene ever, which doesn't help.
