Nice to meet you, good sir. You can just call me Astrid, it's a second name to me.
It's my latest obsession, I've been getting into all the old cartoons of it even, which isnt someting of my usual forte, so it's safe to say that it's going to stick to me for a while. -nod-
And its an amazing movie, it really is. I have my own copy I got at Best Buy about a year back. Paul doesnt quite look like Paul, but the acting makes up for it all (the moment when the two meet. -swoon-). There is a ton of swearing throughout it. And a few other, erhm, adult themes. The only thing I can honestly say I dont like about the movie though is that there's no mention of Brian Epstein in it at all yet the movie spans up to the point where the band got discovered by him. /:
It could very well be a part of Islamophobia with so many people thinking those who are "Muslim-like" are all "evil". I mean, most Americans probably don't even know Sikhism is a religion, nonetheless know it's a very peaceful one with no connection to Islam. But then again, thinking everyone has a gun is just your typical American way of thought sadly. We're very obsessed with guns and it's common thought for people (especially right-wingers) to think every single person in this country has a gun on them at all times. . It's actually pretty scary, makes me wonder how many of these pro-gun people bring guns to their places of worship. o.o You can never know who is and isn't packing a gun in this country.
