    All right, will do. :D

Okay, cool. I'm excited about seeing it. I've seen pictures and it looks really awesome and huge! Are you interested in seeing any of the things I mentioned? Like, going up the Sears Tower? It is the tallest building in America. :D I think it's around $20 or $30 for a ticket though. :/

Yes, that does sound like a good deal, but like you said, be sure to find out how legit they are before spending money. :) Also, we still need to find out about checking in underage.

I've never ridden one alone, but in Tokyo we rode plenty of trains, subways, and buses. I'm guessing it's somewhat similar in Chicago. It shouldn't be too bad. I'd be a lot more worried if I was going alone, rather than with a friend. Safety and confidence in numbers.

Any time? So, before I go to my grandparents' or after I return? I'm a little confused on that matter.

Yes, and everything is within a few miles radius of Union Station as well. I'm not sure about the Chicago Bean though. I didn't get to see that when I visited Chicago. The Art Institute, Buckingham Fountain, Ed Debevics, the Sears Tower, and all the fabulous mile is all right there. :)

I planned on mailing my application, most likely tomorrow.
Mail takes about three days to get to the Chicago area, or at least it did when I sent some stuff to my friend up there. :)

    I'd love to do that.
I'm going to start saving money as soon as I can, which will be next week.
As a side note, what time are you planning on doing the Christmas Eve thing at your house? I'm going to be at my grandparents around 5:30 to at least 8:30 most likely.

Yes, Union Station is in the heart of Downtown Chicago. :)
Actually, the address that is on that paper for where to send the application by mail is only one mile away from Union Station. :)

    I know what you mean.
    I'm still kind of numb.
It's odd that it should affect me in such a way.
I mean, I've studied the Holocaust for a very long while now.
I know all of the terrible things that happened.
I've seen Anne Frank and another Holocaust movie I cannot recall the name of at this moment.
Yet, this movie was just phenomenal and outstanding in the way it portrayed things, the way it gave an exclusive inside look from the outside (if that makes sense).

The movie I was speaking of on the way to the theater that I said my dad always tells me I should watch is Schindler's List.
From what I've heard, it's one of the most detailed and best movies/books about the Holocaust to date. I'm sure it would be worth reading and watching.

Wow, yeah, that's a bit pricey.
I wonder if there would be some less expensive way?

Most hotels in downtown Chicago are pretty expensive as well.
I have a friend who lives about an hour north of Chicago. She'd probably let us stay, but she doesn't have a car, so I don't know how we'd get to the city and back. :/ I do think the train goes to her town though.

I can probably handle that. :)

I shall. Where is the event taking place so I know in what area to look for hotels.

It'll have to be the train. There's no way I can drive in Chicago and my car is crap, but if I can get the money, I should be able to go.

We're out of school until January 5th. :)

It sounds really fun and I simply adore Chicago so I'm up for it.
Who's driving and what is the date?

That sounds fun. We'll be co-editors. lol :)

How was your singing lesson? Is it still with the same woman?

Okay, now I'm going to insist you hurry because you've got me very intrigued.

I can't wait to read the ending, but I guess I'll have to. I'm not one of those people who read the last two or three pages of a book and ruin the whole thing. That's just ridiculous. (That word reminds me of HP now. [ridiculous, that is])

I quite agree. Tea is very epic. The British are amazing. lol

Perhaps Friday before we go to the RC I could come by for a cuppa.
Don't suppose you have crumpets too? lol

I completely understand. It's done that to me several times thus causing me to copy everything before I hit submit nowadays. :)

Baby hippopotamus, you say? That's had me laughing. Wow. Jo really is comical, is she not?

Yes, it is quite amazing what books can do to us. Every time someone says anything along the lines of "Er." anymore, I cannot help but think of Harry Potter. I've also caught myself saying things such as "Well I can't very well do that, now can I?" to people on MSN and "It's such a shame you didn't get chosen to go somewhere abroad," to Jessica Davis (speaking of her upcoming E-team experience [they picked her to go to Mexico]) as well. I love it though. I suppose that is indeed one of the signs of a good author.

The Indian tea sounds very appetizing. As of late, it has been herbal green tea with honey, sugar, and milk added, but now I am depleted of that and will begin my black Scottish tea. Hopefully it tastes all right. I've never tried it before.

The new characters are great; I always love meeting new people. I really like Moody and he is indeed interesting. I had a feeling from the beginning that Bagman would turn out to be a bad person, and as I grow nearer towards the end, I feel my suspicions are being confirmed, especially with Winky saying he is not good according to her previous master.

I'm very grateful that you've considered me to have a go at critiquing the first chapter to your novel and I would actually be honored to do so. I must also say that the image you gave me of Caitlyn was quite funny. She would probably try to do it for a friend, but she's usually very busy and I'm not quite sure how well her mind works in the fantasy genre. I know she enjoys reading it, but I've never read anything - nor do I know if she has in fact written anything - in that genre.

I know what you mean about being lazy, although I prefer the term procrastinator. It makes me feel as though... well, I don't really know, but I think it sounds better than being called something such as sloth. I have ideas for a novel as well, but have yet began working on it. I should probably do that and soon.

I've changed my mind on the subject of what I want to do with my life. I've now decided that I want to go to a college in or around Chicago for photography. I could take it as a major and Creative Writing as a minor. Plus, there are many job opportunities in Chicago for photographers. It would be amazing to be a photojournalist for the Chicago Cubs and politics. I could also take wild life photographs for local nature magazines as I'm sure there must be at least one.

Wow, I just realized how long this comment was. I suppose I'll stop rambling now.

(I totally just accidentally commented myself on here instead of you. This comment has been copied and transferred to the correct place. lol XD)

I believe I commented you last, but no worries.

I'm currently just getting ready to start Chapter 23 (p. 385) of the fourth book. With the first three, this seemed like great progress, but on this book, I feel like I've made hardly any. I've been reading it for three days now and am only approximately half way through. I can't imagine what it's going to feel like reading the fifth one (if I'm correct about it being the eight hundred and something paged one).

I find that reading Harry Potter has made me take a keen interest and liking to tea. :/ lol

I've heard the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde before. It sounds pretty appealing. I suppose I should and could give it ago.

I actually do want to see that movie and was planning on seeing it on my own, but going with a group of friends sounds much more appealing. I accept the invitation. lol

The Constitution test went much better than I had been expecting. I didn't check to see how many I missed though. I was only concerned whether it said PASS or FAIL on the top. Luckily with the first try it said PASS! :) I was very happy because the first two people who'd seen theirs had failed.

Yeah, there have been a few minor things that the book has mentioned that I had to go back to a previous book to remember what it was talking about.

I'm on chapter twelve of The Goblet of Fire, but I won't have much time to read it today because of school. I should have spent more time studying for my Constitution test this weekend instead of reading, but Harry Potter is more important. lol Kind of... If I don't pass it today, I won't be able to pick the book back up until I do this week. :\

It's cool that you're into Dickinson. She's always been one of my favorites. She's very inspiring and went through a lot of hard situations in her life. Her poems give a really good insight to her feelings. It's quite amazing.

A wedding, you say? Interesting. I haven't attended a wedding in quite a long while. Not since my cousin Jared and his now wife Sharron were married and that was almost three years ago. Wow.

I have The Bell Jar sitting on my book shelf. I've heard it's a great book, but I've yet to pick it up. You'll have to let me know whether it is worth a read.

Okay, I finished the second book.

    There's only one thing I don't understand...

How can Tom Riddle be kept in a memory when Voldemort is still alive?

I even made a watercolor sign for the RC!
It totally says GLOW on it! XD

I swear that I'll not let anything hurt your books. I have way too much respect for Harry Potter, books in themselves, and you to do so.

New Moon is both my favorite and least favorite book. I'm sure as a book lover you can relate. And really, there aren't minor details that come into play later, just the major ones. New Moon is kind of boring in my opinion because of the absence of Edward, but Caitlyn and I discussed today that you'll probably end up as a Jacob fan. lol The rest of the books are much better in my opinion.

I finished the first book and am already on chapter 3 of the second. I squeeled out loud after gasping in class when I got to the chapter about Dobby. I didn't think he came in until the third book for some reason. I was so happy! I loved Dobby in the movies! <3 Everyone looked at my strangely though.
