  • Hi, I just wanted to say thank you for the comment you left on my poem "Nevermore". It meant a lot to me, I didn't realize the comparison untill I read over it again. The comment you left was one of nicest comments I've had on my poems in a while. I use to have an account on here with literally all my writing on it and I just remembered the password for that account and I'm transferring Nevermore and my other poems to my old account, if you could, please put your comment on my reuploaded poem on my other page. I'll send you the link so you don't have to hunt it down (: Thanks. I'm sorry for the inconvenience, comments on my writing just mean a lot to me and I go back and read them when I'm upset :P

  • Hey thank you for the comment on my profile and on my poem, I appreciate it :)

And thanks, it's pretty cool being in a band, sometimes it's not the easiest lol. The band I was in before this one, we didn't always see eye to eye on things, but I guess it happens. Ha, you remind me of my gf, she can only sing too, but singing is just as important (; I'll admit learning guitar was not the easiest for me, but if you love it enough, it's definitely worth it. I say give it a try sometime.

  • Thanks for the comments on my poems ^.^ Especially those two since I was very unsure of them. Everything I've written in awhile just doesn't measure up to some of my old stuff in my eyes for some reason :P

    Anyways, thanks xD

  • Hey. Sorry about not getting back to you. I kept reminding myself but I literally had NO time to click on Mibba. It's sad really. I promised I would always find time for Mibba but nobody's ever on anymore, including me, so that went down the drain.

Regarding the poem, I did write something somewhere but I sorta mighta lost the paper. ^^' It wasn't good anyway. How's the rest of the poems coming along? And the title? I did think of a few but none of them really worked. I didn't...feel it, ya know?

I do think though, the title should be in a foreign language. I'm starting to like that. Non-English titles. :) What do you think?

  • Yeah I was lucky :P Though now I have nothing to read!
    February 6th, 2012 at 06:05pm
  • Okay good :P I was worried about that.
Ah! That sucks! I had to read Brisingr in anticipation of Inheritance coming out so I was safe :P Though there is a recap in Inheritance which also helps. Try reading that and seeing if you remember most of what happened :P

  • Sorry i haven't been responsive, I haven't been on for awhile *Facepalm*
Those actually sound like some great books! I haven't read very many of them either. I have read the first book of Thirst though, I found it very interesting but at the same time he has a... unique writing style that I like, yet drives me crazy at the same time. I read Eon too, though I haven't read the second book, I really should though XD
Hrm... I need to think up some other good books and tell you and return the favour.

  • Right? I hope he does too! It would be so cool :D

I may rec a few I have already so bare with me. Hate List is excellent, though it isn't under the fantasy genre. It's a work of fiction about a girl who dated the guy who caused their school shooting killing quite a few students. The people he killed were people off of a list they made together of the people they hated. It's about the aftermath.
The Secrets of the Immortal Nicholas Flamel is a great series. I like how it includes a lot of mythology that you can look up and how they match up history with fiction. It's a very interesting series :)
The Woman of the Otherworld series by Kelley Armstrong is really good though more mature. She does a fantastic job of creating her own world with werewolves, vamps, etc. She continues the series for quite sometime going from different characters perspectives. the only downfall to her writing is that I have to stop reading after a few books because all of her main characters are quite similar. This can be a good thing but not when you met that character earlier and did not get certain vibes about them and then when they are switched to being the main perspective it feels as if their personality has switched.
I have more but I don't want o hit the word limit for this message :P

  • I have that feeling too :P But there's always the off chance of having something the other hasn't read. And that book could be really good :D
I won't spoil anything, don't worry. I was lucky and had just gotten paid so I could buy it. I can't imagine what it must have been like to put it back, I would have cried ^.^
He did say that he might do a prequel about Brom's story/the fall of the riders. He also is thinking about making a book that is a stand alone about the aftermath of everything that happened in book four. I hope he does :) I also hope he mentions more about Angela's past because it interests me.

  • Yeah I liked how they interconnected the shows. I started watching Angel because Buffy and Faith were on his show a few times :P
It's very good :) I have a ton of book recommendations if you like fantasy/supernatural. It's the main genre that I read.
Yeah normally I just wind up embarrassing myself *Facepalm*

I know! I'm reading it for a second time now! I liked it though their were a few things that annoyed me. I didn't find that it was as good as the hype but that would be nigh on impossible. I'm just glad that it's finally out. He is thinking of writing a fifth book about what happens afterwards though. I hope he does :D
I know right? Apparently face to face is different, though it shouldn't be. But I guess it's a good thing because I would fail at talking to people if I was just as shy on a computer.

  • Ah you're a Buffy fan!?! I tried to show it to some of my friends (I have all the seasons) but they got too caught up in the fact that it was made awhile ago and thus the filmography isn't as great as some of the stuff we have now. Makes me sad since the show was just so well put together.
But you named a lot of things I liked :D I'm currently obsessed with Lily Allen's song The Fear.
The second book of Blood Ninja was good :) and I know that he is making a fourth book, I just failed at placing it up *Facepalm* The book actually comes out in a few days.
I recommend the Gone Series from the books you listed you've read. It's like a more modern Lord of the Flies, with special abilities and whatnot, and a crap load more kids.

That's cool, I'm just shy period. If I am left directing a conversation, it dies. Unless I'm with my friends, but then it's mainly me coming up with some really strange stuff when things go silent :P
