Hey there! I'm Maddie...I guess that's kind of a big given seeing as it's in my name :P I love Punk/Alternative music. Listening to music, writing poems, songs and blogs, are kind of my thing. Short stories for me can go either way for me, so I don't know if I'll even post one. So here's the thing: I love Green Day. Well, that's kind of an understatement...Since, there isn't an actual WORD that can describe how much they mean to me. I bought American Idiot with my own money when I was six. It was my first CD I got for myself...Let's just say, Mom was confused... Anyways, if you disrespect, put down, make fun of, or do anything offensive relating to Billie, Mike, and/or Tré, that's like you're saying this to me. So don't :) Also, I have this other band that I really,really,really, REALLY love as much as Green Day. That, my friends, would be My Chemical Romance. I went to their concert Dec. 18th, and it's changed me. When I listen to them, it's as if Gerard somehow tapped into my mind to get how I'm feeling and, yeah, weither it's My Chemical Romance or Green Day playing in my beat-up iPod, I scream/sing it on the bus, subway, whatever. So don't say ANYTHING about Gerard, Frank, Mikey, or Ray :) Basically, I love Gerard Way, and I'm not ashamed to just tell you, because I do. AND YES, I know he has his wife and Bandit and all, but still :3 I love Billie Joe Armstrong too, I even convinced someone once that Billie Joe was my father... It was pretty awesome actually ;) I listen to other band too, don't get me wrong, I listen to The Clash, The Beatles, Sex Pistols and all that too! :D It's just that I've listened to MCR and Green Day the longest, so I get really protective of them, and when people call me E-M-O (I HATE that word, it should never have been invented, I have to spell it out 'cause I can't even say/type it at all), because of what I listen to and the fact that I like Black Eyeliner and dress mostly in dark colours, and I am really pale actually (and I can't tan...So I'm kind of stuck this was :P), that's the complete opposite of who I am. I'd like to think of myself as a kind of happy person. I mean, even if I'm in the crappiest of crap moods, I still plaster on the biggest smile I can manage and I try to be overly-hyper and make sure that no one knows I'm upset, because I try to make my friends' have the best day everyday. Even if I make them smile once, I know I've done my job :) I care a lot about my friends and I try to put other people first everytime, because making people happy, it just makes you feel good that you put a smile on someone's face. Even if you just met them :) Anyways, thanks for looking at my profile here (if you can actually get through it all, sorry :P) and add me as a friend or whatever :).
