Backstory

"Once upon a time, two best friends, inventors Thadeus Becile and Peter Walter, desired to impress a Chemist named Delilah with their brilliance. In their attempts to one-up each other, they grew apart. When Thadeus discovered 'Green Matter', a form of energy made from the edible green Rock Candy, Peter argued that the power source would be too unstable. Despite his arguments, Peter Walter remained intrigued at the effects of the 'Green Matter'. At the next convention of The Cavalcadium (an illusive organization of great minds working together in the fields of science, arcana, alchemy, and art.), Thadeus unveiled his newest invention: a behemoth copper African elephant, powered by the controversial Green Matter, and controlled by a human counterpart. The elephant almost won Delilah's heart, as she loved African animals, so Peter was determined to outshine his former best friend in an attempt to win Delilah's affections."

"Peter designed a steam powered robot giraffe that stood 136 feet high; wanting a power source similar to 'Green Matter' but safer, he created 'Blue Matter'. If controlled properly, it would be an invaluable power source. He later on went to use it in the creation of his singing robots: The Spine, Rabbit, Hatchworth, and The Jon."
