Haha yeah... when we first got him last year he did so good, but this year he wasn't doing so good, and then there were rumors by November, so in a way I expected for it to happen. Oh my God, I know. Now I'm so scared to get a jersey! Especially when with trade day coming around in a couple of months! Crazy

Dude, I notice that you write stories about players who aren't as popular in the fanfiction community, and I love that! I had no idea who Brooks was, and when I did I'm just like In Love In Love I can't wait to read the story when it's posted!

Yeah, like we have Gazdic, he's our fighter, and he's just great. On the ice he's pretty much made a name for himself, but off the ice he's like a giant teddy bear. tehe

@ ace merrill. - Aww, we stole him from you! He's done so amazing here so far. And I love the accent. I got a Neal jersey last year and then they up and traded him. I'm afraid to get anyone else but Crosby because it feels like the minute I buy it, they'll get traded.

Paul Martin is probably an oddball choice. He'll be 34 this year and is a defenseman. I think he played for the Devils before the Pens. He's from the US--Minnesota, I think. He just strikes me as an interesting person. Not really shy, but quiet and introspective and humble. I gave his girl a little twist to her story that isn't evident until a few chapters in.

Downie is a ex-Flyer that's playing in Pittsburgh. A classic trash-talking enforcer who gets under people's skin and loves to fight. I think they pretty much snatched him up to have Crosby's back and he's doing him job wonderfully. I think my obsession with him has to do with getting underneath the bad boy/tough guy exterior.

I feel like there are so many guys that I want to write and I just don't have enough time!

Ugh, he was in my team (Oilers) Cry so that wasn't a very happy moment for me, lol, I just got his jersey this season too, and then the trade happens. Though I perked up in hopes that you would consider writing about him. tehe

Dude, I don't know much about any other players, only ones who are mentioned quite a bit,but I always end up liking them when you write about them, so I'm quite excited for the stories! Crazy

@ ace merrill. - Perron is a cutie! I'm glad the Pens picked up more eye candy for me. I'm hard at work on my Paul Martin fic again. It's close to being finished. Probably about five more chapters. I'll probably start posting it in the next few days. Unfortunately for Perron, Steve Downie is all up in my head trying to get me to write him. So, that's probably going to happen after Martin.

You are the reason I'm a bit in love with Lupul. Your story made me see him in a different light. All the music helped as well. Love everything you write, even if it's about Phil Kessel. Maybe one day you'll finish your Neal story.

You're one of my top 3 favorite writers on Mibba. Therefore, I'm willing to bet you could make your readers fall in love with Kessel even if they don't like him at first. I definitely look forward to reading that one as soon as you post it. I said I would read your other fics and I did. I actually read them right after I posted that last comment, and just as you did with Lupul, you made me love Laich and Richards (wishing there were more Richards fics out there). Toews never did anything for me either until I read "In Another Life" by JulietFalls. That was proof that writing can make you change your mind. I don't know which photo you saw, but there's a GIF of him shirtless in the locker room and I'll admit that could make any girl blush. The Blackhawk that really does it for me though is Brandon Bollig. The guy is an enforcer, which I love but every time I see a picture of him I just want to hug him. He's like a big teddy bear, and that beard...oh my. Unfortunately, no one cares about him enough to write fics so I'm SOL there :(

Anyway, I hope you start posting your new story soon! I need some new reading material this summer! Speaking of summer, enjoy yours and happy writing! Cool

Hi! I know you haven't written a story in a few months. I see below that you have one in the making. I read your Burrish, Lupul, and Crosby fics. I love them. I also read your Neal fic, I know it's not finished but what you have so far is great! Maybe one day you'll finish it. I plan on reading the rest of your fics this week. You made me fall in love with Lupul and I'm not a fan of his but now I am. By any chance, do you take requests? If so, I'd love to see your take on JonathanToews. I'm not much of a fan of his on the ice, but he has an air of mystery to him that I think would make a great story.

    Happy Writing! Smile

@ She Said Poptarts - I'm so happy to hear that you loved the story! Brooks Laich is like, ugggg, my god. He's delicious. I wanted to make Marie relatable instead of some super sassy model chick who all the boys pant after. Those kinds of stories aren't as fun because they tend to focus on sexual attraction to the detriment of emotional connection. At any rate, I hope you like my others when you get around to reading them. I'm working on a new one at the moment, but it won't be posted for another few weeks
Oh gosh, Brooks is delicious! You did a such a good job on Marie, and I love her so much.

I did read your other stories, I just didn't have the time to comment! I don't know how many times I've reread them, so I have absolutely no problem rereading them and commenting once I'm finished! So I will do that. AND I'M ALSO SUPER STOKED TO HEAR THAT YOU HAVE ANOTHER IN THE WORKS! <3
    I'll definitely be checking up!

I'm not a fangirl of Phil Kessel but because of the Olympics, I'd be willing to read anything you write about him! I understand the winter blues, I get them to some degree. Considering I live technically below the Mason Dixon line it shouldn't be very bad for me but the over 4 feet of snow we got (norm is a foot and a half, some years we only get like 2") and the freezing temps from Oct through end of April made for a very long winter. A very very long winter. I don't know why I don't realize why I'm in the doldrums December through March. I blame my Vit. D levels. Have you had yours checked? If they're low, they can help contribute to mild depression/lack of energy/lack of creativity. the B vitamins can also help with those things, too.

But at least there's hockey! Delicious hockey! C'mon babies, you can make it through the conference semifinals!

No pressure from me, I hope the muse cooperates at some point. I know I go through fits and starts of creativity based on my mood and energy level. I'm just glad to see an update after someone whose work I've enjoyed has gone dark for an extended period and there's no other place I can check in to see if they're alive and kicking. Life happens but its nice to know that it's general life and and not bad life events that has caused someone to 'disappear'.

@ kmblue - I am indeed still alive. Changes in my personal life (neither good nor bad) distracted me from fandom. And then there was this shitty, depressing winter. And then there was my lack of desire to write. And then were all these hockey games to watch. Excuses, excuses.

@ Jayess - Sure, I'm happy to give an update. Like I said above--there were a few reasons that I wondered off. That being said, I wouldn't say I'm done with the hockey fandom. I actually started writing a fic last week and got stalled out on it. Plus, I'm not sure anyone here cares to read a story about Phil Kessel. He doesn't seem a fav among the fangirls, but the next fic I actually finish will probably be featuring him. I can't get the idea out of my head because he's so deliciously awkward and a bit of an enigma to me. There has to be something under the surface. At any rate, I'm glad to hear that the fics I've posted have stood up to re-reads and such. Maybe in the next month I'll be ready to post another piece. Here's hoping my muse cooperates.

@ sammiv4 - Yes! I do plan on posting more stories.

@ LoveGame13 - Yep, here I am. Back, but not bearing new fic yet. Yet. Maybe soon.

    @ Ribbons63 - Awww, shucks! Thank ya!

@ H_DIZZLE - I'm trying damn hard to write another fic. Maybe in the next month or so I'll have something.

And if any of ya'll know someone who is in lurv with Phil Kessel, then send them my way. I need a fangirl to fangirl with in hopes it will light the fire under my muse's ass.

Would you consider giving us an update on what's going on in your world? I.e. life got in the way, you've lost interest in the fandom, etc? You don't owe us anything, certainly, but it would be nice to have an idea no matter how vague. You're such a great writer that it would be a shame to lose you (the stories have been holding up to multiple re-readings, I've read all of them at least twice, some more) but the reality is that sometimes things run their course and sometimes good writers stop or move on. If that's you, well, I wish you luck in your future endeavors and I wish you luck in finding another outlet for your creativity!
