I'm surprised you even remember it! Thanks for reading and I'm super sorry to have let you down. I loved writing that story, but the plot was a tangential mess and it was based on Cam's rookie year. Flash forward: he's turning 21! To be honest, it would be so much fun to revisit that story, but I really don't know how to even approach doing that. We'll see. I still have pages upon pages of notes and plans for that silly fic. Thanks for the message though, the idea that people enjoy my writing is so friggin unfathomable. I logged onto Mibba for the first time in almost a year just to respond so you know this means A LOT. :)

I love Cabral as well! Even though he likes to get in the players personal space quite a bit. But his interviews are always fun and unique. I love when he made Marc Staal call his mommy after his first playoff goal. That'll always been one of my favorites. When it comes to hockey shows, the US is deprived. ESPN is a fail at all things hockey but I watch a lot of stuff online to keep up with it all.

"I remember Myers being pretty good last year, what happened to him?" Ouch man. That one hurt. He had an excellent second half to his season last year, unfortunately this year has been rough. But they benched him for a game and he came back swinging. He's such a big kid but he's so hesitant with the physical stuff. After they benched him, he started playing a more physical game. And then he had to go and get wrist surgery and has yet to come back. Another couple weeks now I think.

Finley hasn't gotten much ice time so I have no idea what he is truly capable of. But let me just tell you, one of our babies (amerks (farm team)) McNabb, holy cow. This kid is amazing! You'll be hearing his name a lot in the next couple of years. So is Zach Kassian. I'm actually getting a t-shirt that says Badassian with his picture on it for Christmas. Pretty excited. Those two along with Corey Tropp (who unfortuantely just got injured about 20 minutes ago) need to stay forever. They keep sending them back down when our regulars get healthy but everyone keeps getting injured and we have to call them right back up. We haven't gone a game without an injury in a long time. My poor little Gerbe got a concussion last game, after getting his lip cut by Goose's (Gaustad, we got some good nicknames too. I call Drew Stafford - Staff infection. It's not spreading as fast as one would think.) skate the game before. They call Gerbe the little ball of hate because even being 5'5, he doesn't take anyone's shit. Such a feisty little guy. But it's a silly nickname because he is actually a ball of light. One of the best people I've ever met in my life. Wonderful person.

The Sabres have a lot of depth. We have a lot of decent scorers, although one of our top scorers is a defenseman. But what do you expect with Ehrhoff? Were still missing a first line center though. Derek Roy just doesn't cut the mustard there. Plus, the guy is kind of a creep. Let me explain, he likes to creep on girls that are far too young for him at the bars. Yuck. Seems like a decent guy though, I guess.

I laughed so hard at the Seguin thing. Especially those pictures people did on tumblr. I liked the one about the waffles. That guy seems like such a douche. I don't know him so I know I shouldn't judge him but he reminds me of all those cocky jerks that treats people as lessers. I don't like it. Or him. The Teddy Bear toss things was very cool. What a great idea! Way to go Canada! Lol.

I'm gonna have to go see this Carey Price thing. Sounds good. ;) I have a problem with ice girls too. First of all, aren't they freaking cold? I'm not a feminist by any means but I find it degrading and completely pointless. Put some clothes on and do the same job. The end. Also, I hate when hockey teams have cheerleaders. I was a cheerleader for 6 years (Granted, I was the girl who refused to wear the skirt, which is weird because I love dresses now.) but I feel like they have no place in hockey.

I've seen Supersize Me. But I don't really eat fast food. I'll make an exception for Mighty Taco though. That shit is good. If you're ever in the Buffalo area, go there. Were the only place that has them. Kick's Taco Bells butt. Do you guys have Taco Bell? While were at it, I hate that you guys go the good side of Niagara Falls. And I hate that Sid's Tim Hortons commercial never aired here. I watched it yesterday and it freaking made me cry.

It sounds weird but Jeff Skinner has actually motivated me to work harder. I've read a few things on his work ethic. He works really hard but is real quiet about it. Not just with hockey but in life. He's playing professional hockey and taking college classes. It truly inspired me. I hope one day I can thank him without actual telling him directly that I was a lazy bum, because that would be embarrassing and might freak him out.

I love the glamour of old movies. I love the way they dress and the way they talk. I'm throughly convinced that Marlon Brando was my soul mate. He just fascinated me. I would have loved to meet him.

I completely understand your pop culture woes. People our age especially are obsessed with that crap. Luckily, I've found a great group of mid twenty to thirty year olds that I can really relate to a bit more on twitter. That sounds like I have no friend besides on the internet but whatever. We talk mostly about hockey or tv. Good stuff like True Blood, The Walking Dead, Being Human...etc. I have no probelms with fans of shows like Teen Wolf but they like the eye candy more than the show. And with hockey, I just unfollowed this girl on twitter because she decided to not watch the Canes game because Jeff Skinner has the flu. You think Jeff Skinner is the cutest thing to happen to the world - cool. Me too! But if you claim you're a huge hockey/Canes fan but will only watch if he's playing. Fuck you. That is just disgusting to me.

I love your biased views and oddness. Makes my day. Look how fast I got back to you, btw. Don't feel obligated to get back to me just as fast. This is very time consuming and I don't feel like doing again tonight. Lol. Oh, and what do you think about the realignment? I'm not a big fan. I especially feel bad for the Canes. They have no shot in hell. And I have no problem with Florida teams but if the point of this was to save money on travel costs, why are they in my conference? They just aren't willing to break up the Pennsylvania or New York teams but don't care about other rivalries. The biggest problem I have is that playoffs are going to suck. You have to play within your division for the first two rounds? Dumb.

I wish I got TSN! LIfe is so unfair. And I love Cabbie. Isn't his actual name something really weird. Like Cab...I have no idea actually. I could just google it right now, but I won't. I know when I saw it I thought it was strange though. In a good way, of course.

Honeslty, I think the Sabres would be better off keeping our babies in the line up. They play hard, every single game. And maybe our vets are better players and have more experience but they aren't playing like it. Our young guys can hit too. I'm really scared of losing my babies. There has been so much talk about possible trades for Bobby Ryan. I was so stressed about it yesterday. Which I realize is dumb but us hockey fans are crazy. I was on the internet for hours, checking updates and sending out mass texts to family and friends. Maybe my mother is right and I should be a hockey analyst or a sports journalist. But then again, she also told me I should be a truck driver (the girl who is 18 and has yet to get her license). So I hold little to no stock in her opinions about my future career. Doesn't look like I'll have to worry much about Bobby Ryan anymore though. I really kind of wanted him, but then again so did a handful of other teams. I think it's just terrible what the Ducks did to Carlyle. I mean if you're going to fire him, fine. But to already bring in his replacement and not tell him until forty minutes after the game - it's disgusting. That man worked in your organization for years and helped bring your team the cup. I think it's just awful. Ugh.

Have you heard any talk about "the twin towers"? Lmao! I don't know if you know many Sabres fans besides myself but we just signed Joe Finley and he's coming up for friday's game. We unintentionally got him trending pretty damn high on twitter yesterday when the news broke. Lol! He's a 6'8 defenseman, just like Tyler Myers (but he weighs significantly more). It'd be awesome if Lindy would pair them together.

I'm so sick of Shanahan and all his shanaigans. I feel like he is either playing favorites or can't make up his mind about where to draw the line. Tanger quite beastly. Hockey players are some kind of tough. They truly amaze me. Did you just mention Kadri? LOVE that kid. I see great things for him, I really do.

It's perfectly fine if you want Buffalo to struggle, I feel the same about the Leafs. Although they aren't one of the teams that I hate, if they do bad, it's good for us. So, sorry?

I think your absolutely right about the Oilers. I bet any amount of money that they win the cup in the next few years, as long as nothing major happens that is.

People seem to really hate the sy or er nickname thing. I like it. Could they be more original? Sure. Do I care? Not really. I like line names though. Of course Buffalo had the French Connection. But the leafs had the original Kid Line. The Oilers sort of took over that one. Those should me more commonplace these days. It won't happen in Buffalo though because Ruff likes to change lines more than a cocaine addict.

I feel like the Sabres got gipped out of being on 24/7. Plus, our owner before Pegula wasn't into the whole interacting with fans thing, I guess. Before, there were only a few videos of the Sabres and they weren't aloud to have twitters and things like that. Things are changing now though but I wish we had more of an in-depth look into the locker room. Hehe. Sounds dirty. But anyway, we were in the classic before 24/7 so hopefully we'll be in it again soon.

I stil have yet to see the Lasagna. Although I am nursing an iced capp right now. They are like crack. What the hell do they put in those things?

I feel like I've accomplished nothing so far in my life as well. There are people younger than me that are playing in the NHL and I'm just sitting on my ass! But I realized something the other day. Those boys worked so hard and sacrificed so much to get to where they are. It's not that I'm incapable of accomplishing things, it's that I'm not giving 100% to anything that I do. I'm an idea person but I rarely follow through. That is about to change.

I'm more of 20s through 60s lover. The music, the clothes, the movies especially. I'm a huge lover of black and whites. TCM is my favorite channel. But as far as hockey goes, I don't know very much beyond the big names of the past. I'd really like to change that. I guess, I've got some work to do.

I'm really glad that we started talking. When I try to talk to girls my age about hockey (even the hockey fans) they don't know as much as they think they do. They know a lot about how cute players are (and there is nothing wrong w/ that in my opinion) but when it comes to actual knowledge about the rules and the statistics, they definitely fall short in most instances. Yet, they think they are hockey geniuses and make fun of other people for their lack of knowledge or ability to spell names. I've seen many twitter arguments because someone called someone else out on how to spell a players name. Who the fuck cares?! It definitely irks me. But with you, I feel like I'm learning more about hockey just by talking to you. So thanks for talking to me. :)

Great update on your story! Loved it as always.

Shanahan is a douche. Apparently, Lucic didn't have any intent?! I saw screen shots of almost every second of that hit. He clearly saw Miller, looked right at him, and then zoned in to hit him. Even if he couldn't completely get out of the way, he had plenty of time to try and lessen the impact, but he did the exact opposite. I can't wait for our next game man. Were gonna destroy them just so everyone will shut up about us being weak. Which I'm not denying. Were not a physical team unfortunately. Kaleta is a pest for sure but he's not that scary and our best fighter is out w/ an injury. Plus tonight, Myers got an upper body injury out of nowhere and if he doesn't play I'm gonna be pissed. He was a healthy scratch the other day and just for the record, I've been begging for them to bench his ass for awhile. It's not okay when you cringe every time a player, who gets the most ice time on the team, touches the puck. But after being scratched, he came back swinging. Finally using his size to his advantage! He actually got a call from Shanny for a questionable hit. Warms my soul.

Enough about the Sabres and their suckiness though (Can you tell I'm bitter about our loss? Although to be fair we actually played really well... for about 40 minutes. I'm happy for BizNasty though. He got the GWG in front of 50 of his family and friends including his mommy (BizLovely) and his grandfather who had never go to see him play an NHL game before. It's beautiful.) how bout dem Leafs?! I did not expect them to man handle the Caps like that. High fives all around. Honestly, I would have preferred the Caps to take it but good for you and for them. I mean last I heard that hadn't scored more than 2 goals in their last five games. Oh and I don't know if you caught it or not, but the Oilers destroyed the Hawks (and on little peek-a-boos birthday). Hall got a hatty, Nuge was first star because the kid is beast, Ebs played great. The kid line is insane. I felt for the Hawks, I really did, but despite my soft spot for them, my heart sings for the Oilers.

*cries* Don't bring up World Juniors! I wanted to go so bad. It was so close, yet so far. My parents weren't willing to drop cash on seeing a team that wasn't the Sabres. I didn't have any money but I got to see and hear about all the grand festivities. Except there was that one asshole who insulted my city on twitter. I don't remember his name because he is clearly an irrelevant piece of trash. He's lucky he didn't run into me. No one fucks with my city.

You're Canadian, so can we just take a moment to discuss Timmy's real quick. I just heard they have Lasagna now? Is this true? I have one right around the corner from my house and two on my college campus but have yet to see any. How about you? Real talk.

Is the Skinner interview the one with all the sexual innuendoes? Short shifts? Oh that was hilarious. I love him. He is adorable and perfect. I want him but I'll never have him. Life is unfair. He deserves better than me anyways. I don't know if you saw on my twitter but I'm "withdrawing" (aka dropping out) of college. I'm probably gonna go part time at another school for a semester and start somewhere else full time in fall, but I'm still dropping out and I feel like a loser. Sigh.

I don't think I could date a guy that didn't like hockey. I need to be with a guy that will watch games with me. I mean, I watch a lot of hockey and I think about it almost constantly. It's an obsession. And it'll annoy the crap out of someone who doesn't share it. Ask my friends. Lmao!

I've never been to Korean BBQ or karaoke but a combination of two sounds grand. I didn't really mean vacation, I meant off season. Same thing though. Life practically stops and slows down in the off season. Typical.

I really, really want to watch more classic hockey games and study the older players. I feel like I'm missing a giant chunk of hockey knowledge or something. I'm gonna work on it. Ummm, so I think that's it. I always read your responses right away and then respond to them a few days later. They just take a long time to write out, ya know. I'm lazy. :)

DUDEEE! Skinner and Stamkos are both from Markham?! I bet you already knew this but I just figured out that Stamkos was from there too. Anyway, you get yourself Stamkos, I'll get Skinny, and we can vacation together in the off season! ;D

Alright so Miller is having some sort of melt down. A lot of people are claiming it's his marriage. Which I'm not gonna lie, probably has something to do with it. I mean when your wife lives on the other side of the country, that is going to effect your mental state. Which in turn, will effect your game. But fear not, my friend! We have this lovely Swede name Jhonas who is so clutch, it's not even funny. He's having a great season so far. But this "goalie controversy" is not only going to kill me, but probably Miller too. He doesn't do so well with the negative criticism. Ever.

The leafs may be at the top of the standings, but the Bruins just beat them 7-0. Lolzzz. I swear it was like blow out night in hockey. Philly, Burins, Wings. T'was insane.

Oh and the Sabres just won two games in a row. Back to back. So don't worry about us. Were doing just fine.

Buffalo has a huge hockey market. They don't call us 'hockey heaven' for nothing. It surprises me when people from other places don't know that. Or when they spell it Saber. It just seems so obvious to me because it's all I've ever known. It's never not been a big deal. Were actually leading the NHL in TV ratings right now. And we've only had one home game that didn't sell out. The waiting list for season tickets is forever long too. And no matter where we go, we have fans in the audience. Buffalo sports in general are just a big deal (to us). Were a city based on pride. And manners. Except when we boo our own goalie off the ice. Oh well.

What did you mean by your younger brother kills you? Lol. Uh oh, asking me questions about my family? Now you'll never get me to shut up! Like I said, I have three brothers. One is 20, (Went out for dinner tonight with my parents, ordered a beer, and didn't get carded. Although he had his fake id at the ready. The fact that they let him use it blows my mind.) and the other two are 14 and 12. I love the rascals. All of them. My older brother is such a punk but he totally has my back. He's like 6'2 and I'm 5'2 so it's nice to know he'll kick some ass for me. Or carry me to the car when I can't walk and hold my hair back while I'm puking my guts out after a bit too much to drink. That was a terrible night. The Sabres lost and I just...well never again. That sucked. So embarrassing. *hides head in shame* My other two brothers are amazing as well. They pretty much do whatever I ask and I'll admit to sometimes taking advantage of that. I shower them with love and hugs though. Were all really close. Sports definitely brought us closer together when we were younger. Backyard baseball, snow football, street hockey. With four kids you basically can have two on two matches in any sport. Although we played with the neighborhood kids a lot too. I grew up on a street with all boys and I was never really aloud to have friends over growing up so I understand that whole boys as your group of friends dynamic. I tend to like guys better than girls anyways, even now that I'm older and they're all so perverted.

That's cool you have a rink so close to your house! We have one pretty close as well but it's always being used. So, it's not really even an option.

Jeff Skinner has always appeared to have a personality to me! He really seems like an exceptional guy and player. I hate that he skates with his feet pointed outward though (must be from the figure skating or at least I assume it is). But he's one of those guys that is gonna be one of the faces of the franchise or whatever. And any girl that dates him is gonna get so much crap from girls that don't even give a shit about hockey. That scares me. I'm a pretty simple girl and I just want a simple life. I don't know if being a WAG is in the cards for me. But those girls piss me off so much! Don't bother trying to talk hockey with them. They can't tell you what icing is, explain a saucer pass, and wouldn't be able to tell you what top cheddar is. If they loved hockey and Jeff, I'd have no issues. But they're pretty much 12 year olds that just pretend to like hockey so they can fangirl over the kid. That is like cheapening the sport and I'm not okay with that. Nasty hoes.

So I found you on the twitter! :) Thanks for the follow back!

I'm so sorry that it took so long for me to get back to you. I just had my heart broken. I mean, I had heard rumors circulating. I know I've mentioned before that Buffalo is a small town and word gets around, so I already knew. But when Patrick Kane admitted on television that he had a girlfriend, i just died. It became unbearably real and my heart shattered.

Except not really. I may have just read your reply when I didn't have time to answer, and then forgotten that I never did. My bad. But the Patrick Kane thing was kind of upsetting. That and I went to a Halloween party and this guy who knows the Kane's told me that he totally let winning the cup go to his head. He also said though that he was finally getting better, that he was starting to understand or something. He was a little drunk and a little hard to follow. And I was worse. Should have ate dinner. Oppsies. But I'm actually quite happy for young peek-a-boo. He's really growing up. I'm so proud. :)

I've taken a few days and completely switched my efforts over to Jeff Skinner. This should be more tricky because of the distance but I'm sure I'll get the job done. ;) Oh, the utter ridiculousness that is me.

I guess that hockey obsession is something we and our cities have in common. It's much harder to find someone who doesn't follow at least the Sabres than it is to find someone who does. Proabably a 3:1 ratio.

Hockey is my favorite sport. I've loved it since I was little. Being from Buffalo, most families tend to watch the Sabres games. My brothers always wanted to play but we could never afford it. So there was always a lot of street hockey with the neighborhood kids and mini sticks in the living room. My one brother is in an indoor hockey league too. But between me and my three brothers we've played just about every sport available in our area and price range. Field hockey, soccer, tennis, volleyball, cheerleading, lacrosse, etc. But everyone in my family played baseball. That is what I grew up on. So I love baseball is definitely a close second. I watch Soccer a lot but only when I'm at home because they don't have any good soccer channels at school. I watched West Brom vs. Liverpool this weekend. Liverpool took the win. :) I'll watch pretty much whatever sport is on my tv. I love the Bills and I like the Steelers as far as football goes. I love watching rugby, tennis, volleyball, whatever is on. The only sport I don't watch is basketball. Except when my little brother is playing. And I don't mind shooting hoops every once in a while.

Brian Wilson is a dream boat. Marc Staal? Yes please! I think he is the most attractive Staal, although Eric is my favorite. He is just such a solid player. Gahhh! Staals are just too yummy. :)

I adore Ovi. He's a showman for sure and although I'm glad most players aren't like that, I do enjoy what he does.

I was gonna say puck bunny but it's so overused. Puck fuck and puck slut as well. What can I say, I'm an original.

When you get yourself all hooked up with Stamkos, I'm completely expecting you hook me up with Skinner. Can you say double dates? We'd have a grand time darling. :)

Oh and I was wondering, do you have a twitter?

You hate the Sabres?! What kind of person are you? For shame. *Shakes head disapprovingly* It's alright, your forgiven, if only for your love of Russians. :)

So right now I'm watching game 7 of the World Series. Cardinals are so gonna win and I think I might cry, tears of pure joy. I'd marry Freese, if he wasn't already married. But anyways...

I know what you mean about the friends thing. I'm so into sports and most girls just aren't but luckily I've managed to find a great group of female sport fanatics and Sabres fanatics on twitter. I don't know I'd do if I didn't have them to talk to and obsess with. But since starting college, I've been watching the Sabres games with groups of people at school. But I'd still prefer to watch with my brothers.

Ahhh, the infamous Mutton chops. ;) I don't think I'd like them on anyone but him and his glorious baby face. I wonder if his skin is as soft as a baby's bottom? That would be nice. I too enjoy a good beard. Do you know who Brian Wilson is? If not, he is the closing pitcher for the San Fran Giants. He dyes his beard. Well, he doesn't admit to it, says it's just a tan. Lmao! I love that man and his beard. Yum! :)

I love every player you named. Actually, I have a real hard time hating any players. I do like me some Ovi. I find him oddly charming with that toothless grin of his. My one friend gets mad at me about that. Were going to the Sabres game for her birthday and they're playing the Caps and I told her I'm wearing my Ovi jersey. She plans on leaving me there to fend for myself. Too bad I don't have one but still. I like to piss her off. Lol.

I don't like T-Segs. He is def not my boy. I'll admit he is growing on me though. But he just seems like a frat boy to me. He reminds me of the cocky jerks at my college that I hate. I have no right to judge him seeing as I know nothing about him (and my love of Kaner, who has done some questionable things) but I do anyways (which is odd because I normally avoid casting judgements on anyone, so he's probably like my soul mate or something...I need to stop trying to romantically attach myself to hockey players or people are gonna think I'm some sort of puck whore lol). He kind of seems like a little boy who is trying on the big boy pants or some weird cliche saying that is better than what I can come up with.

Umm, so can you introduce me to Stamkos? Haha. Have you tried to meet him? Would that be rude if you used your aunt like that. I give you my permission. I wouldn't think any less of you.

You can not have my fuzzy peach! Rumor has it Kaners gotta himself a girl here in Buffalo, who used to date Stafford. So...I'll win him over. Just call me Madame Homewrecker.

    Oh and btw...

CARDINALS JUST WON THE WORLD SERIES!!!! :D

Gotta go celebrate so please forgive any spelling or grammatical errors/ I think I left some stuff I wanted to say out. My bad yo.

Alright so I just about peed my pants! If you want to get man-handled by HandleBar McGee then be my guest. Just don't come crying to me for help after he shaves. Lol.

I think you are doing a great job of keeping a sort of organization in your story. The references may seem a little out there but they make sense to the characters and in the story. I can alway find something connecting them. So you don't have to worry about that, you're doing great!

I am a huge *anytime anyone uses the world huge, I hear it in an french accent...and it's always proceeded by lips and ass ;)* hockey fan. My team is the Sabres but I follow pretty much the every team to a certain extent. But I closely follow the Sabres, Pens, Canes, Ducks, Hawks, Oilers, Avs, and Canucks.

Evgeni Malkin is probably my favorite player in the league right now. Followed closely by Christian Ehrhoff, Ryan Miller, Nathan Gerbe, St. Louis, Tyler Myers, any and all of the Staals, Toews, Sharp, Crawford, Armstrong, Bobby Ryan, Stamkos, LeCavalier, the schenn boys...Okay this list will go on forever if I don't stop now. My favorite player of all time is Lemieux. Love that man.

Oh and I should probably mention that I have a huge (ass and lips) crush on Patrick Kane. Kind of wish I didn't though. And the sad part is, I could probably meet him if I really wanted to too. Buffalo is a pretty small city and just about everybody knows somebody who knows the Kane's. But I just think I'll continue crushing from afar. Don't wanna ruin my fantasy yet. I really adore Jeff Skinner as well though. Too adorable. And he's actually from just North of Buffalo across the border. It's a drive but it's still pretty close. Do I sound like a creepy stalker? Cuz I am. JK. *Kinda. And just for the record, if Geno was avaliable, I'd marry him tomorrow if he asked. He gets injured, his girlfriend leaves him and he wants to stay in America? Let's get hitched! Instant green card!

I hate the flyers and the red wings. I pretty much like every other team. As long as they aren't playing the Sabres. ;) Lol.

What teams/players do you like? Any crushes? Lol.

You are most welcome for the comments. Thank you so much for writing and sharing your stories! I love your writing style. The little references and all that are quite possibly the best thing that has ever happened to me. Is that an over exaggeration? I'll let you decide. I've said it before but your characters are just more entertaining than real people. I really wish Cam Fowler's internal monologues are just like you write them. But it's highly unlikely he is at the same level of awesome that you have created here. I can't believe your only sixteen! Your writing is so mature that I would have guessed you were way older. Kudos to you.

I googled the Canadian Woman's Olympic hockey celebration and I think you're right. The media definitely blew it out of proportion. It really wasn't that big of deal. But that being said, I don't like the fact that they did it on the ice. I guess it was a little disrespectful to their competitors and fans to celebrate like that in public, but I think they earned it. It's more so that I feel like the ice should be sacred. But hey, they actually play hockey and I just obsess over it from the stands or my living room, so I'm sure their votes count more than mine. Lol.

So, when can I be expecting another update? And let's be real here, Dave Schultz is a beast. The odds are totally not in your favor girly. :)

I don't remember the stat, but yea; people will swallow over a hundred bugs in their sleep in their lifetime. I'd rather not know though. And I'll be fine as long as they're not poisonous because I don't wanna die like that.
Dude, work has totally killed my hockey life. I'm missing the first game of the season and I've missed so many pre-season games just because of work. I've only watched two Canucks games and four games in total. It's sad, really.
People are more excited than anything to make it to playoffs again and actually win the cup this time. It's not like a lot of our team has changed. (Except Ehrhoff...) We joke about it, but very lightly. And the government and people are going crazy about the riots and stuff.

I like European fashion. And just the way that they carry themselves. Like, some of them are just naturally really classy and pretty - especially the women. Anywhere is scary at night. Even the rich end is scary because it's deadly quiet and we have a lot of looming bush fences that something can pop out of at any time.
I think that was a sports city survey. I remember hearing Toronto was the worst city for sports. AI? That's a good place to good. They have good programs and higher chance of getting a job. But yea, we're pricey people.
    HAHAH at the 'Hoser' thing!

I know, but I think he's gotten over it now. He'll make me stop to watch iCarly if we're channel surfing, but otherwise, he's good. Toews fever was off the charts during the pre-season! Both Toews's?! COME ON! But it's been kept in check for the most part on Jonny Toews. What is with you and knowing relatives or in-laws of hockey players?! You Torontonians...
I used to listen to it back in the day when it was still in its growing stages and before everyone started listening to it. Then I fell out of it and everyone started listening to it. My reaction was: "And you guys made fun of me for listening to Kpop all those years ago..." But now I just listen to a few good songs. My mom listens to her oldies still so I'm good. It's not really pop culture when it's from Korea. It's more Korean pop culture. But my mom knows more celeb gossip than I do.

It truly was a horrible off-season. And now all these suspensions? Shanny is really cracking down on everyone. But from a low low, there's only one place to go - up!
Dude! Doughty's contract is ridiculous!!! Seven million average for eight years?! HOLY!
What's IAPS? Just get through math and you'll be fine. HAHA! You can say that about a lot of Leafs' fans.

No problem! You're a fantastic writer. Speaking of Cam, he's playing a hell of a game at the moment against the Canucks, so there's that :) Maybe I'm just being naively optimistic, maybe it's because it's the preseason, but I feel the irresistible urge to say you never know! Maybe this is Toronto's year. I'm sure somewhere, thousands of people are laughing at me and snidely saying "you must be new", but I'm convinced that despite their reputation, they aren't as bad as they seem. Again, that could be the preseason good cheer talking, so maybe you should just ignore me, haha.

I hate it when I see bugs on my ceiling. That is the creepy thing because you never know when they're gonna come down to crawl into your nogging. Otherwise, I'm good with them buggies, and even when they're up there, they're dead in a few.
Wait - you had a wasp infestation?! WHAT? That would scare the crap out of me! Those things don't die and they hurt! At least bees die after they sting you.

I love painting with those rollers! They're so fun! Ikea, I have tonnes and tonnes of fun! Even going through their catalogue is fun! The latest issues - I can't tell you how many items I've circled. I love their closets! Ionno what, but the food there is actually REALLY good! And of course I know what you're talking about! I can never complain about some of the European imports we get.

Case-and-point, West is the bomb, especially BC! We've got all you wanted along with a populated city, but not too populated you feel like you're dying. I think it's also because you guys have really cheap realty along with good amounts of culture and sports. May not be the best at sports, but y'all got every major sport. But apparently you guys spend 42% of your income on housing while we spend about 98%. Yea, I like your odds of owning a house than mine.
Hahaha! Golf is cool, no judge. But I could never watch an entire tournament. Clips here and there is how I do. Now it's thirty days! I cannot wait!!
O__O Did you really? Hahha! You should just randomly say, "I have a puck bunny in my family!" and then shock everyone by actually having a bunny.
    Beaver - no. Just no.

How can you not like Jersey Shore?! It's so freakin' hilarious, entertaining, mind-numbing, and just stupidly fun! I thought they said 'huh?' instead of 'eh?' Hey! I say 'y'all'! Just not in replacement of 'eh?' We have funny little difference between us and them yanks. HEY! We've also got green! We ain't no sucky leafs! Xb
    I love the term hoser!

Oh no you don't! I still got my hold on Toews no matter what blonde bimbo he choses to date! My boy can keep his crush on Miranda Cosgrove and I get to keep mine on Toews, Orlando Bloom, and this Kpop singer. I think it's 'cause we actually know of the old logo and we're Canadian so we like tradition in hockey than these big changes. You should get a move-on on that because I would like to meet Stammer and be able to squeal without him thinking I'm weird because I will just be your weird friend! ^__^

All these deaths, eh? And now Belak too! Jeebus, what is our world coming too! I know! Layton just announced he had cancer a few months ago and then BAM! Took us all by surprise and knocked us out of our seats. Even if we weren't NDP supporters (I am though) everyone still cared because he was a great politician.

So, how was the first day back to school?

Ah, don't worry about it! We've got our lives away from the computer. 'Tis all good! And witty and wise? Why, thank you! *Puffs out chest* I feel my self-esteem rising!
You guys had a moth infestation? Aiya! I hate a group of moths! They creep me out! Like, one is fine, but more - horror. Dude, if I was stuck with my family in one bedroom, hell would have nothing on us. PAINTING TIME! I love painting walls! You can do whatever you want (sorta). Hahahah! Ikea furniture is funny, but it does its job. I don't like their stuff too much, but they've got some nice stuff. I hate it when you're missing a screw though. Always seems to happen. Swedish imports in many senses *wink wink*

DUDE! The dougie is freakin' awesome! AHhaha! The Vancouver swag is always willing to be taught to you East Coasters. Swag over comfort, is what my friend says.
I know what you mean. They assume that as a teenage girl you're a puck bunny. Hahaha! No cutie could ever make me watch golf. Bravo on your dedication though! Hey, someone's gotta appreciate nature's fine work of the human body. Hahaha! Beaver's got a perfume? Oh my...

Hahaha! OH EMME GEE! JERSEY SHORE IS BACK!! So funny and so gasp-worthy! I love them guidos & guidettes. Hey, nothing is wrong with gingers, eh? I know exactly what you mean. Like, I know American's aren't all rude, but some of them just give the nice ones a bad name because they are exactly what the stereotype says.
I will not be walking into your room if there ever comes a time in case I burst into flames at the Toronto colours. Xb Jokes!

WHA..T?! You missing out, girl! Other than the Vancouver swag, when you get here, you'll be tasting the good stuff! Hahah! Maybe too much love...

I've been up to normal summer stuff. Nothing major. Except... I got a boyfriend! All of my friends who found out couldn't really believe it because Addy with a boyfriend is unheard of and rare!
I like their new logo. It ain't to shabby. Got more signature than the old Jets, but the authenticity of the old logo should always be around. Stammer can do what he wants since he's so good. I ain't gonna knock on him or the Bolts.

Dude! Rypien's death totally shell-shocked all of us while we were at the amusement and we all just went like 'What?!' None of us could believe it. RIP Rypien.

Learn the moonwalk! Or dougie! Anything can be a dougie, I tell you! Okay, not really ANYTHING, but a lot of things have become dougies. The single ladies dance? Really? Now when either of us are in each other's cities, Imma teach you how to do some of those! I can't jerk so that's okay. Whipping hair back and forth can cause whiplash. I should know; I gave myself whiplash doing it.
A lot of people dislike/hate NYR, I included. But they got some players that are easy on the eyes.
I think that's like most true female hockey fans. Looks get you good points, but if you have skill it makes you sooooo much hotter! I see you trying to save yourself there with Bozak.

First year of his contract Hoffer was good and I liked him. Then he started to dwindle in the second year. I think I'm okay with him gone, but it would've been nice to keep him.

There's no tax in PA? Damn. And their dollar is lower than ours. Win! Yay! Renos! They're actually kinda fun - especially with paint! Paint his room with the two colours of his team and then just get a couple of stuff for the walls or desk.

I like gutting the fish. I'm a violent child. Gutting and catching I like. We like salmon in this house. Well, my family will eat a lot of different fish, but I like salmon. So if salmon's in the kitchen, Imma eat it - especially if it's baked Filipino style!! If I'm ever on a boat with you, do not push me. I will drag you down with me and have you bring me back to the top.
